I have a giraffe coffee cup. I love it. I shall rescue it, no matter what.
Does it have a ceramic giraffe standing inside the mug??

One of my Bible study leaders had a giraffe pattern mug and it had a little giraffe attached to the bottom of the inside. I loved having coffee out of that cup to see that little giraffe head sticking out. I've never been able to find anything like it and they don't remember where they got it from. I admit I coveted it. That's right. I coveted a giraffe cup.

Thomas' comment about my soul wrenching questions made me think about house fires. So. If your house was burning down and you could only save ONE thing, what would it be?

RULES: Must be a material item. There are no children, pets, elderly grandmothers or baby mice in the house. You are not allowed to be the more righteous person and run outside, forsaking ALL earthly possessions. You must choose one in order to get the door open and get out.
That's an easy one. The only think that truly can't be replaced...the book(s) housing my songs. (It's once stack, if that counts...because I wouldn't just grab one of the song books...it would be the stack...else I wouldn't remember...and some of them would be LOST FOREVER!! =O )

My contact lenses, I have bad vision and I can't see as well with glasses, so I really need those.

I hope mine doesn't sound shallow, when I thought about it, I could go to the Ophthalmologist I worked for and get some the same day, so my kids baby stuff. I have a box with the memorable baby stuff, so that would be what I'd grab.

GraceLikeRain says: "Thomas' comment about my soul wrenching questions made me think about house fires."
You know, for so many of us regular folk, when we think of a soul wrenching topic, a soul wrenching song may come to mind. Even a soul wrenching sermon or maybe a soul wrenching family story. Heck, we may think a family reunion might be soul wrenching in its own way or even seeing your kids off to the school bus the first time.

A soul wrenching house fire tho.....

I'm not good at making right decisions in such a rush. So, I guess I would just grab the first thing I see- such as -> comb or napkins. hahaha
