A slogan is defined as a short and striking or memorable phrase used in advertising.

KFC describes themselves, or used to, as "finger lickin' good."
Nike is "Just Do It."
McDonald's presents us of course with "i'm lovin' it"

If you had a slogan to describe your life & to advertise yourself, who you are... what you're about...

What would it be?

"Folksy, yet erudite."

Somebody once described me like that. "You seem folksy, yet erudite, like a combination of beaux arts and banjos."

"If your life were a slogan..."

This pretty much says it all!

As Luther once said, we Christians are Simul Justus et Peccator ("at the same time just and sinner"). So I think my slogan might be, "Deut the sinner, saved by grace".

~Deut

Romans 5
8 God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Probably dozens - but I'd go with

"Captain of my own ship"
&
"This world is but a canvas to our imagination"

Well right now I'm going with: The story goes on...

That could change by tomorrow, but in the meantime I'm thinking of this song:

Lately, it feels like “I’m still waiting” or “i’ll do it tomorrow”. Think I am re-entering burnout and school starts again soon.

What are you studying in school and how much longer do you have to go?

Software development. This is my last semester. I’m feeling burnt out on school in general. I have been going forever while working full time, but I am excited at being almost finished.

Then I can decide whether to got for a master’s. 😛

Yeah push through that last semester so you can have the degree that says you are a bona fide geek. Though you might end up like me and have a recurring dream where you suddenly find out you have one more semester of school you still need to do for some reason (and I've been graduated for over a decade and it still happens).

This is one of my favorite ZAZ bits. I still occasionally have that dream about high school.

If your life were a slogan...

Sadly I passed up my chance to watch that movie with my Dad this afternoon, opting instead to watch Start the Revolution without Me.
Hmmm I’ve never heard of that one. Is it good?

Top Secret is great if you haven’t seen it. I think it might be my favorite over the Naked Gun and Airplane. Those are all classics, though. Might have to do another marathon one of these days.
