Do you like Collard Greens and Spam?
No I do not like them Pam I am.

Would you eat them in the air?
No I would not in the air.

Would you eat them over there?
No I would not eat them over there.

Would you eat them on a bus with a guy named Gus?
No, I would not eat them on a bus with a guy named Gus?

I do not like them, Pam I am, I do not like
Collard Greens and Spam!

Would you, could you, on a Plane?
No I would not, on a plane or a bus, or
with a guy named Gus. I do not like them, Pam I am.

Will you just try them?

Yes, I will try them and you will see
then you will let me be.

Hmm, not bad, I do like them Pam I am.
I do like Collard Greens and Spam.

Uh I took the liberty of updating Dr. Seuss. Yeah, so sue me.

.There once was a lady from Niger,
who rode on the back of a tiger.
They came back from the journey
with the lady inside the tiger's body, and,
a smile on the face of the "panthera tigris,"
which is "tiger' when scientifically is listed.

It's not like it's forever
time is meaningless to God
we have made ourselves a prisoner
held in an unseen cage
and through my own impatience
I make myself weary
what I can almost hold
is so incredibly distant and yet so near
patience
stillness
calm
I lie my head upon a pillow of dreams
and await your loving arms
drifting along currents of indigo
I will sleep
I will pray
I will believe
one day is not so far away
I will make myself a prisoner no more
for God has heard
a deaf ear He has not turned
and His love has brought us through the fires
brought us through the pain
held us in His loving arms against the storms that have raged
I will trust
I will believe
as I live this amazing dream
one day at a time

My good friend iTORE
You're standing on the brink
Of being kicked out of this poetry bout
Your poems are causing people to think

In this thread we cast a frown
On good poets who use their pens
To express strong thoughts through ink blots
We're all about causing brain rends

So if you'd like to encourage others
By all means continue to write
But in this poetry battle where bad poems ramble
Your good poems won't win the fight

I once had a boyfriend Andy
He wasn't dandy

I told him, my dear,
take a long walk off
a short pier.

He did and I
Thought, boy
that was handy!

Raging against the machine
just brings me to a place called linkin park
another system of a down
has me disturbed
even though the police have read me my rights
I'm still fighting for my right to party
it's like a ghost in the machine
inside my machine head
and nothing hurts like your mouth
your mouth
and its just another brick in the wall
that has blinded me with science!

I sparkle...therefore I am.
It's not like 45 year old women don't like Stephen King
they just prefer to join TEAM EDWARD
even after a few drinks An American Werewolf In London only makes me want fish n chips in some sort of ravenous way.
I will never understand how what I am writing can even make sense to a man as stunningly handsome as Descyple
perhaps I should put a block on my phone
I think he's pulling a Jason Bourne on me!
2 bullets to the back of the head & I'm thinking...
"Yeah, maybe this whole spy business just ain't for me after all."

A woman who is selfish with her tea
is a woman who is cannot be

trusted.
tin roof
rusted.

love shack baby?
or just another house built on shifting sands.
the time is tick tick ticking away
so how can you have too much of it on your filthy hands?

I will never drink your tea
even if it were up to me
but those kinds of choices rarely are.

This is how we get the choicest tea leaves.
We pluck it.
That's what the little Chinese tea farmer once told me
he may or may not have been from Iran
but I run
I run so far away.
I couldn't get away from my crazy hair.

My tea can tell the future
It's written in the leaves.
It says that I still haven't found
What I'm looking for.
That I'm hungry like the wolf.
I'll miss the rains down in Africa
And that I will
Eat three cans of alphabet soup
And have a vowel movement.

God is soooo good.

God is so goooood.

God isssssssssssssssssssssssss so good.

God-d-d-d-d-d is so good.

When I think things out and write things through,
follow through, that is, I mean, to say, I
follow through and do what it was I set out to do,
everything gets so final, so concluded, and, then,
I wish I'd taken things slower, you know been a little
less of a goer and been mo-er of a bit slower
so I could savor what was being finished and final
instead of having done that thing so quickly that
I was hardly even remember being blesed before it was over,
terminated, finito, stopped, ended, thru.

If it were not for Chiropractor

morning, noon and night.

He adjust's me in the
Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

He's not even in the mall.
