Crying is a show of human emotion, and for a man not to cry is a personal moral made up by man.
There is nothing in the bible against a man crying, as a matter of fact it supports just the opposite. As it talks about we are to show remorse, Godly sorrow for the things we have done, and to show it in our actions...........

John 11:35

Jesus wept.
Yes!

no one would deny it and, often, when i read

Joh 21:17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep.

I myself feel my weakness, and have shed some tears.

Didn't Jesus Wept? and I'm sure his apostles wept too. Why not? men can be just as emotional as females. So yeh why not. Why do some men think that they are a hard man if they don't show a tear or 2. I personally don't think there is anything to be ashamed of, or wrong for a man to cry.

Say it out loud! :p

Instead of taking things away from me (or us) you have given (several of us) ice creams, joy, and love, pinky bug.

I hate you with love.

I will tell you one thing, since I rededicated myself to Christ back in 2009 I find myself crying more now then ever.
I could sit down and watch a sad movie and not a tear one came down my face, but since my rededication every time I sit down and watch a sad movie I can't keep the tears back..........

Agreed with you!

They loved too much to pull tears back when He left.

I have seen men shedding tears from frustrations, too. When the pushed themselves to not fight and use his tears so, we can be -also- like crocodile tears.

The pic comes later on...

There only that record but just think about THE MOMENT HE WAS CRUCIFIED...

I´m sure He wasn´t happy saying "Aleluyas". Use your common sense and imagine those times no record was kept for "logic" reasons.

I have seen men crying when being baptized, too.

Don't know about guys but the song says.......

"Big Girls Don't Cry"

Big girls don't cry
Big girls don't cry

Big girls don't cry
(They don't cry)
Big girls don't cry
(Who said they don't cry?)

My girl said goodbye
(My oh my)
My girl didn't cry
(I wonder why?)

(Silly boy) Told my girl we had to break up
(Silly boy) Hoped that she would call my bluff
(Silly boy) When she said to my surprise
"Big girls don't cry"

Big girls don't cry
(They don't cry)
Big girls don't cry
(Who said they don't cry?)

(Maybe) I was cruel
(I was cruel)
Baby, I'm a fool
(I'm such a fool)

(Silly girl) Shame on you, your mama said
(Silly girl) Shame on you, you're cryin' in bed
(Silly girl) Shame on you, you told a lie
Big girls do cry

Big girls don't cry
(They don't cry)
Big girls don't cry
(That's just an alibi)

Big girls don't cry
Big girls don't cry
Big girls don't cry
Big girls don't cry
Big girls don't cry

Blond thinks that if anyone needs to cry they should do it - men or women as it is an emotional outlet and it is certainly better to let it out that to hold the stress and sorrow in. However, if it is a little scratch......then Man Up......even I won't cry for that.

What about the time you see your 1st baby born?

When I got my Joshua I thanked God, kissed my baby and showed my tears.

Look im not saying there is no place fro a man to cry some tears ..but this idea that men should cry all the time is just not making any sense to me? And the men I know would think something odd about a fellow like this...like maybe he had some sugar in his tank...if you know what I mean?

Mitspa, you're missing the point here. The OP question is, is it okay for men to cry. NOT should men cry ALL THE TIME. Yes, it's fine and normal for men to cry. But not 24-7 or they'll be labeled as a whiny crybaby.. :)
