I know drinking is fine but getting drunk is sin right? So unless you have a specific person or crowd that has a problem with getting drunk it should be fine right? If i were to get married, assuming it was in the area, i would be sinning cuz my step dad and a few of my sisters could stumble from serving it at the wedding sooooo yeaaa that's my answer it depends lol.
I think it’s called drinking moderately lol.

I remember one time I was working for my dad on a deck he was building and he shows me these dings I was putting in the wood when I drove home a nail. I always had an excellent read of my dad's demeanor and could tell he was upset by the stuff thrown at me and when I said the cedar wood we were using dinged up real easy he told me a kind of important life lesson. He says "Well I know that and you know that, but do you think the customer knows that"?

So, to answer this question, I agree it's ok for Christians to drink in moderation and we can reconcile that in scripture and our own hearts. But does the "customer" know that? I'm not saying anyone's wrong here, it's just that Christians, like it or not, are under a bit of a microscope and nothing provides more satisfaction for a non-believer than seeing us trip up in some way or other even if the reasons aren't valid. Worse yet, a new believer might also see the unintended hypocrisy.

There's a verse in Matthew 18:6 through 9 that talks about causing a "little one" to stumble. I'm not so sure Jesus was talking about a child just then. He might've been talking about a new believer.

Heard this song on the Radio today, and thought of this Thread. It is SOOOOOOO TRUE! :)

I can make anybody pretty
I can make you believe any lie
I can make you pick a fight
With somebody twice your size

Well I've been known to cause a few breakups
And I've been known to cause a few births
I can make you new friends
Or get you fired from work

And since the day I left Milwaukee
Lynchburg, Bordeaux, France
Been makin' the bars lots of big money
And helpin' white people dance

I got you in trouble in high school
But college now that was a ball
You had some of the best times
You'll never remember with me
Alcohol, alcohol

I got blamed at your wedding reception
For your best man's embarrassing speech

And also for those naked pictures of you at the beach

I've influenced kings and world leaders
I helped Hemingway write like he did
And I`ll bet you a drink or two that I can make you
Put that lampshade on your head

'Cause since the day I left Milwaukee
Lynchburg, Bordeaux, France
Been makin' a fool out of folks just like you
And helpin' white people dance

I am medicine and I am poison
I can help you up or make you fall
You had some of the best times
You'll never remember with me
Alcohol, alcohol

Yes since the day I left Milwaukee
Lynchburg, Bordeaux, France
Been makin' the bars lots of big money
And helpin' white people dance

Yea I got you in trouble in high school
And college now that was a ball
You had some of the best times
You'll never remember with me
Alcohol, alcohol
(Alcohol, alcohol)
(Alcohol, alcohol)
(Alcohol, alcohol)
