I've had many people over the years comment that my avoidance of relationships is a sign of my immaturity and lack of responsibility.

I am immature and irresponsible, but I've always been that way and will always be that way. I'd rather be thought of poorly by people than to live a life that I hate just to make others feel joy-joy feelings about me.
