I wear cowboy boots, but I prefer a riding heel. I was called a "roper" in high school. I wonder if they still have those groups in high school (roper, jock, nerd, etc.).
I know what a jock and nerd are. Never heard of a roper. :)

MeeeIAOW! I approve of any ending involving living happily with cats.

Speaking of books, there's a book called, "Men are waffles, women are spaghetti" or something to that effect. Something about how men's brains are wired to compartmentalize everything while women's brains are wired to mix everything together - the upside being that men are better at organizational stuff and women are better at emotional stuff, the downside being that men stink at emotional stuff and women sometimes let totally unrelated things affect how they view other things.

I know for myself this is generally true. I'm not a woman though, so I have no idea if the "women are spaghetti" part is true. Is it?
I'm upset that you even had to ask this question, because we already told you that we enjoy dancing barefoot.

(Yes. Women are spaghetti...)

I've always wondered what it would feel like to have a beard. Are they itchy? Do they really keep your face warm? Do you...wash it and condition it?
I've always wondered why some guys only keep that patch under their bottom lip. (I think they call it a "soul patch".) Why do you shave but leave that little bit? Perhaps my OCD showing...

And this one is for my own gender, because I STILL don't get it and wonder. Why do women go to the restroom in hoards? I believe I'm have a poor understanding of female social norm....

If you figure this one out, please let me know. There have been times where I've forgotten to shave there due to its awkward placement on the face. It isn't near the mustache or beard shaving radius. Imagine my horror looking in the mirror and realizing a lazy shaving weekend turned into a Monday morning soul patch.

I have a deep voice and beard and it doesn't itch but we are also a tough breed out here, one time I squeezed a grizzly bears head until it said my name.

I have a question for the ladies. If a man is in the middle of the woods, and he speaks and there is not a women around to hear him, is he still wrong?

I'm going to double post this one,
I'm curious now?

Why do women "crab claw pinch" their food? (that in between the index and thumb, small pinch of food grab thingy they do?)

It's odd.:(

Ladies please?

Yeah, that is odd. I would say it's for one of two reasons. Some people love the feel of things. Researchers have found that premature babies grow up preferring tactile experiences, so perhaps those hands on females were premies. My other hypothesis is that those women think it's cute and dainty to behave like cavemen. :)

I had a lady friend tell me once that there was a sofa in the rest room and that is was much more comfortable than the chairs in the dining area of the restaurant.

Mystery solved?

Women go to the bathroom in groups because of the social aspect. They can talk, share make up, etc. There is also the aspect of not wanting to be alone--whether that's at the table or in the restroom.

The saying "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" originates from old Roman mythology. Mars is known as a god of war, and Venus as a goddess of love. Therefore the saying is giving the classic gender profiles of men are rough and dominate, and women are gentle and loving.

After a renovation of my old church, one of the ladies was so excited about the new women's bathroom that she gave me a tour of it (after hours - right before a choir rehearsal). It had a "waiting room" with comfy froo froo couches where women could do all those things that Aimee said, plus nurse if needed. They had a lot more counter space that in the men's room too.

They should really stop calling them women's restrooms and start calling them the women's lounge. Because that's what they are..

I can honestly say I've never sat on a couch in a women's bathroom. It would make me feel weird, like "I'm sitting on a COUCH...in a BATHROOM..."

Not ALL women's restrooms are that fancy, Zero. Most of them are very basic. There aren't any couches or vanities.

I just wonder... that place that has such a plush women's room, I wonder what the men's room looks like. I've never seen a men's room that posh.
