That was not gross. It was a light-hearted joke about him kissing his wife.

:)
I know, friend. :)

I have noticed this when we hang out as a group of friends. One lady gets up to go to the ladies' room and the other ladies in the group ALWAYS follow her. Seriously, what is up with that?

Not even wedges?

How about platforms?

Or spools?

Or stilettos?

What about pumps?

That.was.just.gross.
I wear wedges occasionally because they are easier to walk in.
Everything else, not so much.

I like cowboy boots and riding boots! If it's hot, I wear sandals or tennis shoes.

Are you kidding? That's when they gossip about the guys in the group. You didn't think it really took that long just to visit the lavatory did you? They spend most of the time talking about stuff they can't talk about in front of the guys... or in front of the guys they're talking about.

Were I evil I might start planting audio transmitters in ladies bathrooms and broadcasting what they talked about. Fortunately for them I'm not evil.

Not even wedges? I like wedges of cake.

How about platforms? Only if the Blond has something to say then I need a platform...

Or spools? Thread use plenty of spools of thread in my sewing....reminds me I need to get to work making stuff.

Or stilettos? Only for a weapon in case someone gets out of hand.....

What about pumps? You will find those at the gas station.....plenty there....

That.was.just.gross.
I liked his little cinnamon flavored joke.....worked for me.....lol

Blond answers in red above.....

Because nobody wants to be the one left alone with all the guys ;) No, it's usually one of two reasons. 1: we all simply have to use the restroom. Or 2: we don't want to be in a public restroom alone. For whatever reason, it's kind of a creepy feeling.

They go to talk about girl things and conspire against the men. Use this time to coordinate your next strategy.

I thought women all went off to the restroom together because only one woman out of how ever many are in the group carries make-up or chapstick and the rest follow so they can borrow it to freshen/touch up their face.

Actually, I have no idea why women do that.
I have no idea why women do anything.
I have no idea how I've made it this far in life being a woman.

This question is for the guys:

Why do some guys don't like to hug? I know that some have no problem with it, but some do.

I think some guys just have difficulty showing affection. There could be any number of reasons for it, but I think in general it's just because that type of affection is foreign to them, so it doesn't come naturally or because they see showing that type of affection as not being masculine.

at the risk of alienating my cc sisters a teeny bit, i have to dissent with them regarding heels and the entire milleu of said footwear.

see, i know why they are uncomfortable. most women don't spend money on buying a quality pair of heels/heeled boots to start off with.

and even more so than flat shoes, the quality really matters, because if your feet are thrust forward, you need more padding that what is on the bottom of your foot, and certainly more support--things that never exist in cheaper heels. so they try them out, naturally experimenting with a more inexpensive pair, feel awkward and pained and decide they suck. and then spread the word.

but the thing is, would i want to wear them all the time? heck no. but i love wearing them when i do. makes me feel king kong-confident, and it gives me this extra boost whenever i need to feel like a superhero. i won't lie. walking into meeting, event or whatever it is, makes me feel like a million bucks when i'm 6' tall in heeled boots.

and sometimes a girl just needs that, especially when you're serving up a sales proposal that demands that your conviction and confidence shine through, instead of mere words. i can't do my job without confidence. and my heels and heeled boots are like my golden lasso and invisible plane.

but that's me. and i like the way it changes and resettles stuff. i know it's not practical, but i'm cool with that. in fact, i work hard to have some unpractical in my life, because i need to have room for unpractical, silly, unnecessary, indulging a bit of whim in my little world. because there isn't ever enough fun or play in the day-to-day, either. and i love to pack it in wherever possible. : D

because at the end of the day, i'm still that sturdy farm girl who grew up supergeeky and awkward and has to wear the costume to sometimes believe the rest.

Gee, that was very informative. :D

And what does the Blonde think about my question on why ladies go the washroom together? :p
Well that is easy - so they can protect each other from the leeches that try and pick them up on the way to the bathroom....(not cool getting picked up while you are on a date with another guy)..... plus the gossip thing and just liking the company of the other females oh and I must not forget if one needs to hand toilet paper to the other one under the stall. I know more info than you ever wanted to know....
