I want to talk about our lives and challenges we're facing
I just love talking to people; couldn't care less about the topic
I want to talk about something else (let us know in your post)

Personally I think tourist's post #2 could possibly fit into any of the three category's above especially the last one which he expressed in his post. Nothing wrong with mixed conversation or a romantic one.
true - and having a conversation about the outdoors or current events with an attractive female would be awesome! I wouldn't want to discuss sports though, since she would probably know way more than me. I would probably zone out....she may as well be talking about shoes.

My best friend I've had since I can remember is blonde. She starts a lot of coversations and is very intelligent. The other blonde women and men I know are also intelligent. I don't know how the blonde stereo type began. Maybe with Marilyn Monroe, she played aome ditzy characters.
By no means do I believe Blonds are stupid but it sure is a nice excuse to blame any and everything on and when I mention it - it is just for fun....2+2 is 5 right?.....lol

My favourite topic by far is Jesus, I just can't stop discussing Him. I love debating different takes on parts of the bible but I only have to mention the name Jesus and I break out in a wide grin - I just can't help it.

I also love discussing news topics, music (I love music) Princess Diana, and people's lives - I love to help people talk through their problems and hopefully help if I can. Oh and the weather of course - well I am British!

Hmm sometimes deep convos when the time is right, other times I just don't feel much like talking or keeping it simple. There's been times when I haven't said a word from the moment I woke until afternoon. I like silence a lot. When it comes to banter, debates, discussions that never have a solid conclusion, they just exhaust me.

so i guess that means you DON'T want be to bring the photographic catalogue of all my boots next time i'm in the area?

on a serious note, i'm sort of surprised how many guys do enjoy talking about shoes and clothing. seriously. i know a few guys who are far more interested in the topic that i am. yes, heterosexual men, who just seem to have an appreciation for such things.

when i lived in another state, one of my guy friends would occasionally end up going shopping with me, and he loved shoes, boots, coats, and so on, (for both genders). i sort of miss having a guy's opinion about stuff like that.

anyway, i know he was sort of rare in that sense. : )

Oh, I forgot animals. I love talking about God's creation in general.

Gypsy, as for clothing, I don't really talk about it but I know what I think looks good and what I don't like. More so on others than myself, but Arlene has begun to train me. :)

What is up with this forum? I posted that last comment two hours ago. I just looked at the CC singles forum main menu and it showed I posted it two MINUTES ago, and it was highlighted as if I hadn't read the latest comment. I clicked on it... yup, that's what I posted two hours ago.

Weird...

Whenever there is a poll, the system will treat every new vote as if there is a new post. This is why you'll get a regular notification for new activity within the thread, even if the "new post" was actually a vote within the poll.

its actually bad forum administrating to set it to where a vote is considered a new post. and rather annoying.

That applies to me. Although I am perfectly heterosexual, I just appreciate good clothing whether it is on a man or a woman. Unlike a "typical guy", I am a very patient shopper. I can shop for a whole day or even for 1 hour. It depends on how comfortable I am with the place and how interesting the collections are. There are a couple of girl friends who took me shopping when their girl friends were not around. Some may call it "unmanly" but I don't care. I am a well-dressed guy.

Talking about women's shoes, here are the ones I know - flats, ballets, kitten/spool heels, pumps, platforms, wedges and stilettos. :p
