When people complain about the state of the Church, I normally ask them what they are doing to improve the situation.

I don't know how to answer the question about people pointing fingers at you for not living up to their standards because no one does that to me. They normally just gossip about me behind my back.

Man, I've been really humbled lately. As I read the responses of women such as Seoulsearch, GraceLikeRain, gypsygirl and many, many more, I realise how young in Christ I am.

Upon reading the beginning of the original thread, I already started rolling my up my sleeves, my brain was going in to overdrive and my body became tense, ready to put a fight. Not that I go around looking for a fight, but I am a bit insulted no one has private messaged me picking me apart. :p (I'm sure I have a lot of 'mind' to give, if the time ever came)

I love how you women deal with tough issues so calmly and respond so gracefully. I have a lot to learn![/QUOTE

and yet here I sit praying how awesome you have been for me. You are dearly loved sister. God uses you so powerfully and lovingly. You have no idea how you have blessed me. Its not about how long we walk with the Lord or how much we have done..its about how obedient we are to the word and God's spirit. Much love child of God..much love.

in Jesus name
Amen

Arlene, you're much more mature in Christ than you think. You exude God's love and joy and patience, kindness and truth. Don't underestimate what God's doing in your life. You may have a way to go, but we're all works in progress. Considering how 'long' you've been a follower of Christ, I believe you're doing very well and a large part of that is your willing to be used as God's instrument and to surrender to Him.

That's the amazingly awesome thing about God. When we see only our weakness..others see Gods strength. The spirit of the living God gets all glory so that we cannot boast of anything but Christ and Him crucified. We are one body..we all require each of us to be fully healed to do what God requires of us to do as that body. We are also on a personal journey with The Lord getting refined daily to shine the glory of God no matter what the circumstance.

we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the power of our testimony.

my brothers and sisters in Christ thank you for fighting the good fight of faith and praise The Lord God almighty for our testimonies, that give glory and honour to the one who alone is worthy.our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.. Amen

I've enjoyed hearing from all of my sisters. Not everything you mention resonates with me, either because I'm a guy or just because I'm a different person, but you're all such great, godly inspirations and want to thank you and praise God for the blessings you are. :) You are loved!
