Man Law:

If the guy next to lets out a long, bellowing belch...
he's challenging you to a contest.

And your manhood WILL be at stake.
Not sure Max? I think that was a "cave" man law....I don't think its in the modern copies when they went from writing on stone to paper?

Another man law - if using a urinal in a public restroom, leave a at least a one buffer urinal space between you and the next guy.

The version I heard was a bit more extreme. Go as far away from your buddy as possible to use the bathroom. Pee in the sink.

I'm not sure about that. The high school I went to us ladies would happily join in on the contest and some of us showed some of the guys how it's done:)

Man law....almost never a time to discuss emotion's. Unless your talking to mom; wife or sister.
What happens if you don't have the best relationship with said parent, you're not married, and you don't know where your sister is?

I think there are healthy relationships that you can enter with older adult males. Preferably ones that are older than you, like a father figure. Something like a mentor, maybe?

Although, my brother has told me that he can open up to his best friend about his emotions. So maybe you could find a friend? Either way I hope you find someone. And if you don't, know that Jesus will always listen. :)

Yeah, I have that in my small group. It is so remarkable, really.. They're the ones telling me that my stories are impacting them, and how they say they see a huge change in me.. I know a lot of times, people can see things in us we can't, primarily because we're too hard on ourselves.. But it's just crazy how I can be impacting them, when some of them have kids my age.

Right.. Cause men are robots and boys will be boys.
I think it's healthy for a man to be able to express his emotions. Especially if he would like to get involved with a woman/marry. Most, if not all women, need a man who will be willing to be open and trust her with his emotions. I think it's unrealistic for a man to bottle that up for his whole life and then expect himself to be able to be open to a woman.

I think it's appropriate to seek a female relation or baring that, a trusted older woman who understands and can keep boundaries, for counsel.

Another law for men: If a man gets a dog, when fully grown it must be at least as tall as the man's knee.

A man is allowed to do something really stupid as long as the rest of the guys are doing it.

A man must choose a sports team. Doesn't matter if he's into sports or not. He has to choose a team, and he has to defend them for the rest of his days.

Um... no. That doesn't look like a football uniform. In the USA a man has to pick a football team. And it has to be an official NFL football team. And he has to defend his team every time the topic of football comes up, no matter how bad his team is doing, he cannot admit his team is not the best football team ever.

(Actually when we're in Sunday School class and they start talking about football I just lean my head back and sneak in a quick nap. They never notice. They're too busy talking about their teams.) ;)

If a man drives another man's car, he never ever EVER changes the radio presets. Ever.

A man never questions another man's golf score, bench press or height. He can require him to prove it though.

When a man is showing off a new car he just bought to other men, he is required to pop the hood.

A man does not get offended if his buddy fails to reply to a text, voice message, email, etc.

If a man's girlfriend looks like she was beat with an ugly stick, his friends may not say anything about her looks... until they have broken up.

You're not a guy so you wouldn't understand. When a guy picks a team that is his team for life. It's a personal thing, he takes ownership of that team. It's not "the team you like beat the team I like" or even "my team is better than your team." It's "we totally beat you last night" or "you just got lucky with that last punt." Everything is personal.

Changing teams would be more drastic than changing religions. It would be on the same level as changing from republican to democrat.
