So I guess because a woman says the same thing I did, but in a more detailed thought, things change? By the way, thank you SeoulSearch, for seeing my point.

I'm not sure about that. The high school I went to us ladies would happily join in on the contest and some of us showed some of the guys how it's done:)
Savages.

And by the way bro, it's not called man law. It's called bro code. ;)
I was wrong about this, by the way. I was thinking about something different from what you were thinking. Man law is the unwritten rules that men live by. What I was thinking about was the bro code, a subset of man laws defining how men interact with their male friends. Sorry about that.

If a man is in his own home, sitting on his own couch, with the remote for his own TV in his hand, never ever ever ask him for the remote. It doesn't matter if you are his wife, his first born son, his best friend who was born in the same hospital and raised in the same town and been friends with him all his life, or even his dog... Never asked for the remote.

If a man's home is his castle, the TV remote is the scepter of power. He will not relinquish it and it is just bad form to ask.

It's over and done with, Lynx. Let's agree to disagree.

I thought we already did. I was talking to Mitspa, not you. I thought he should have called the thread bro code instead of man rules, but I was thinking about something different from what he was thinking about.

I totally second that!! That's why when I get married and I have to share my home with a guy, he'll have his tv and videogame, and I'll have mine!!! Cause there are somethings that you just don't share!!!

If a friend does something that everybody else doesn't do - say he drives a pink car or brings his lunch from home when everyone else always eats out (or the opposite) or wears toe shoes or has a wiener dog - you are allowed to make jokes about it every time the topic of (cars, lunch, shoes, dogs, whatever) comes up. And he is not allowed to punch you in the mouth the 250th time you make the joke. HE is the one who does something different, so he has to accept any jokes about it. Even if you have made the same wisecrack for 30 years, he still has to take it.

Man Law....

Never question the size of the fish after the fishing trip....

Never be caught in the kitchen cooking, but always the King of the grill outside....(not all men but some...)
