Some definate red flags are when you hear

You're my reason for living
I never knew happiness till you came along
I didn't want to know God before you

Also when more " words" are thrown you're way then you know what to do with? Won't be long
Before you're chasing those rabbits into holes ..

Unbalanced people are... well... unbalanced. Later comes the I hate yous, you're the reason for all my problems, etc... It's a thin line between love and hate with unbalanced people.

I have found knowing the fruits of the spirit and gods character, are the saving graces God gives us to stay out of these messes..
knowing what Jesus image is to be like coming out of others is also a key .. since coming to know God , it's easy to sift through all the words quicker ... ". Recognizing what god is not has helped me to determine "who it is" I'm dealing with "

What's coming out of someone is either " of God " or not..

I completely understand what you mean, Arwen. I know there are not any guarantees that Christian men will be this way, but I have yet to meet a non-christian man who doesn't try to see where he can go with me. That is exactly why I am determined to only go out with a man who has the same standards/morals as I do. Obviously nothing is a guarantee.

Just a fun fact, wanting to be a florist is a question on a personality test (the MMPI II) is an indicator of a couple personality disorders. :D

The disorders are Narcissistic, Borderline, and Histrionic. Although I wouldn't be surprised about a dependent. To be so attached to someone that you lose yourself is a rather narcissistic thing to do. I used to be a psych student too, but I've decided to go into nursing instead.
