I like my name too. It's Mercy. But most people refer to me as Marcy, even at my workplace after I've been working there for almost two years. I just let it go now because it happens so often lol.

I once met a high school choir director named "Jennifer." He was "John" the semester prior. His students were very confused.

My name is Angela, but I answer to Angie. Angela sounds like a stranger's name. A formal, distant stranger.

I love names like Kia, or Eila. But I find that the kinds of names I like change every so often, so there's no telling which name I might like next year around this time.

I'm not real fond of my first name. It's not common and sounds strange to me when people say it. I much prefer for people to call me by my nickname. My middle name is Adele and I've always liked that.

I don't know if liking the meaning of my name would mean liking my name but yeah..
I find the names Danielle and Andrea beautiful.
