I hoped for some real advice on managing PHYSICAL pain when I saw the heading for this group. But it's not anything to do with such. M & Ms? Is that all you have to be worried about.....? Really.....?
There are multi-colored balloons also. Now, don't get me started on the crayons...

I do have some insight on pain by the way. It is an urgent concern of mine and it is sad for me knowing there is much suffering in the lives of individuals, a pain so great that they cannot possibly bear it alone. Really.

I receive the cure today and I am now in a 12-step program. The prognosis is promising. No further details will be forthcoming.

Is there, here in your clinic, a clean pillow I can use?

I posted somewhere this: "May I ask you prayers, Mrs Spiritfilled?

I´m trying to be detached from a woman I love. I´m in the process of forgetting, overcoming those things I´m missing and renouncing them (though I´m planning to be spiritually retired soon... ) Will you mind praying FOR me to get this over?

Thanks in advance! (although I know all the process of healing is completely mine) "

But I´m feeling love dependency. I wish I could be back off from these feelings and good times...

I don´t know if a clean pillow (one never pored out with tears) would help me find some pain releasing breath. :(

The process of healing from a broken heart is not completely on you to bear. The emotion of love is not completely on you to bear. You are not alone in either of these two things. That is what the man upstairs is there for. He says, "Come now, and let us reason together...". God seriously considers your point of view on all matters and perhaps, together, a logical course of action is decided upon that can be carried out with the love of God in your heart. Happiness is paramount to God. It is not all about "doom and gloom" in serving God. It never was. It is about joy.

There is a major difference in loving a woman and being dependent on the woman to provide love for you to validate your feelings of involvement. When you understand the difference you will be at peace in your heart and thoughts. The love you feel for a woman is the love that God provides to share with your permission. This is called free will. There is always a cost involved in the way of acceptance, responsibility, dedication, discipline and sacrifice. God's love flows freely but the love itself is not free, only the will to have the courage to share it. This is just my humble opinion. Truthfully, what do I know about anything on matters of the heart?

At this time I feel moved by God to offer a piece of advice to you and to the others who find themselves in the midst of love and are struggling to do the right thing by God and enjoy a degree of joy in their lives. While my advice is simple to follow there is a certain amount of deep reasoning involved that I will not go into detail here. The piece of advice is as follows:

Maybe you should elope.

I think we can officially call this the tourist and secular hermit thread :p

Hmm... Let God's love fill that void hermit because only Real Love comes from him. Sometimes we feel traces of it through other people but only God can supply an everlasting fountain of unconditional love.

I know it can be soooo hard to do sometimes, but sometimes that's all we can do is to go to God, get on our knees, and cry out to him, expressing our need for love. He tends to send us a nice supply of love then if you are open to it. :)

My thoughts have been awash in an ocean of emotion with crashing and clashing of waves. It may be wise to come up for air or I will drown. Yes, I feel much better now! A breath of fresh sea air on the beach works wonders. Time to dive back down now and see what treasure I may find. My condition is not from a lack of oxygen but fascination as to what type of flora and fauna may wash ashore during the high tide. I find the process of discovery to be captivating and can be, at times romantic, as well because that is the stuff that dreams are made of.

I was in a 12-step program as part of the cure. The prognosis was promising until I slipped off a rung of the ladder and now I have a fever and a headache. I put an ice pack under my pillow to alleviate the pain last night. The fever is gone but the head still hurts. This may require a house call later in the day for additional comfort and tender loving care . I will start a new climb to the top of the ladder, one baby rung at a time as soon as the soreness in my back leaves.

My fever left me 30 minutes ago. Laughing with a friend is good medicine for me.

Thanks, warm Raine!

I would do that, just to dim that what seemed a need. Instead, if that happens, I´m afraid I will be more detached, more aware of each day and what I could do, although few people might feel ofended or ignored... That´s a problem I plan to deal with soon, before june ends and, my close friends (real ones) have adviced to ask for a wife but I think they are wrong (as I am in fact) I should, instead, ask for His PERFECT will. I have spent 5 decades in nothing, nothing really lasting (too conditional) and I´m aware I am too conditional too).

Thanks for that empathy!

I love that word, empathy. Raine certainly has this.
Isn´t it why deserts florished?

Isn´t that seeds grow, for her refreshing words of wisdom?

That tender terapist -that visits your clinic- is a nice friend everyone would miss and like. :)

I certainly do like her, that is for sure. Yes, she is a very nice friend as well and I find the love in her heart for others to be most refreshing, sort of like how the air feels during a thunderstorm after a torrential Raine.

So this is why my ears are burning... :p

I love the rain too, especially the sound of it, and if there is no lightning, I would dance in it.

Shall we go dancing?

Btw, you two are quite poetic!

I won´t dare to say anything for Dr. Tour
It´s out of my reach to think how he thinks
Just, it´s me who have thought
I also would dance with those winds. :)

PS
Last night and this morning, before I came to Caracas, I enjoyed
those lightnings you feared... I seldom danced under the rain but
who knows, I won´t be struck down.

I don't fear lightning, I actually find it quite beautiful :). It would just be unwise to be in the rain with lightning lol.

This year, by the way, I was looking at them and, suddenly, I saw one which seem to come exactly to my "hut"... I felt endangered and hit in my kitchet and that lihtning hit my mountain, 200 meters ahead my own house... Next day, my neighbor were chatting and I heard someone said that, when that happened, he was washing his hands in the faucet, all wet for the rain, without any shoe... he felt a huge discharge that he thought he was about to die.

The morale is: Never wash your hands under the rain or were a lighting may come down?

That was the 1st time I heard about it. later one I knew cows suffered the pain of using a tree to avoid being poured by THE RAIN.

Let´s be poured out in the open field, instead. :)

I love the sound of Raine too. Our first dance will be a thunderous moment and we will feel the lightning from our heads to our toes.

I have been suffering from negativity lately but I have been blessed with a wonderful friend with a kind and compassionate heart. Each day, with God's help I will make one small positive advancement in my life. It is good to be alive.

It is always a good beach day, dear. Please don't forget your sunscreen. Oh, swim in a crowd to lessen your chances of being bitten by a shark. I love your attitude and I also love you as my sister.
