Tourist discovers New Zealand a little known island nation to the west of Australia on google maps. He decides to take a holiday there with his wife, who also wants to be a tourist.

I know he was Canadian, he went from Ontario to Winnipeg and then a London Zoo he was the Unit Mascot a soldier bought him at a train station lol.

the book 'we are going on a bear hunt' was changed in NZ to 'we are going on a moa hunt' but thing is...moas have gone extinct so its not likely you'll find any. The Maori ate them all.

Maccas is popular, but, you cant eat that everyday.

Kumara, taro, rotten corn, pork and puha boil up are traditonal maori food
Meat cooked hangi style in earth ovens.

Kaimoana too, i.e seafood...kina, crayfish, eel, whitebait, cockles, pipi, toheroa, greenlip mussels

Though everyone took to potatoes..as the crop can keep better than kumara in a cooler climate.

Lamb is also a staple meat. Though beef is eaten, we dont eat nearly as much ground beef as americans do. And its not burgers its more in meat pies and sausages.

Its probably a well known fact that maori used to practice cannibalism.

At least the chinese never did that...though we get accused of eating all sorts of other unpalatable foods, and are partial to sharks fins and chicken feet. But not me. I prefer wood ears and tofu. lol
