Thanksgiving arrangement I did. You probably thought that little wreath looking thing in there was pre-made...it isn't. I put it together. It doesn't have a wreath that we can put it onto, so I just improvised and made it look like it was supposed to be like that. My sister tied the bow on it because, I actually can barely tie my shoes, and I do it wrong. There's no way I can make some cutesy bow. >.<

A beautiful sight after the battles my church has been facing. Praise God for his grace . 1385348_10202332595942155_1480157274_n.jpg

Young Einstein ! I loved that movie . I haven't seen it in years.
I was waiting for Some comment from someone.
I remember liking it back then. But something tells me if i watched it now i'd gag. Kind of like watching an old Paulie Shore movie now. Or ALF.

By the way, every time i see your name i hear in my head an english guys voice going 'pip pip, cheerio and all that'.

Saw this beetle the other day. It made me think of the Lion King.

The difference between this and Seatbelt's 1,000 words thread is you must have taken any pictures you post. I am going to try to post a picture I have taken every week or so, but others are free to post also.

Starting off with a caterpillar I found chilling in the rain this morning. I like to shoot all around a subject I like, and two angles both really worked. So I'll go with two from this morning.

When I see Pipp I think of that twilight zone episode with Billy Mumy and Jack Klugman (you are too young I am thinking, to know this)
he kept seeing his dead son in fun house mirrors and his name was "pip"

I don't mean to derail this thread, but I heard Christmas music today. So when you hear Jingle Bell's, you can think of this and laugh.

I took this picture today of my kitty, Toby. It was sort of an accidental picture. He was sitting still at first, but then he went towards the camera to bat it and that's when I snapped the picture. I think it's cute. Very in-your-face-here's-a-cat. :p

They have a beautiful view of the lake.

Before I moved up here, my friend was a friend and coworker of the wife of the couple. They didn't know me at all but they offered for me to stay in their spare bedroom while I was visiting. Their house is worth 2 million dollars and they just opened it up to a complete stranger. True Christian generosity. They aren't lavish, the husband is an architect for a living and gets a lot of calls for higher end homes. It basically is a show house which they live in, so the wife keeps it showroom clean all the time. What a lot of work! So whenever their pet sitter is not available, I am more than happy to care for their dog/dogs and watch their place for them.

This is one of my daycare babies...didn't want to post her image w/out permission....but had to share her creation of a spork with her for & spoon....with her hand on the side of her face she is either thinking i need to buy some real sporks or my cooking is just bad lol (which she ate everything so i'd say it's not my cooking!)

I'm still at my friends' house on the lake. Katie, their dog, starts barking at the front door. Then I hear the neighbor's dogs barking. They've all done that before, but this time, it doesn't end. I go to the front door and what do I see . . .

The moose, a mother and her two babies, go to the side of their garage/guest apartment where they like to eat the shrubs.

They've had enough of the dogs barking and head off into other parts of the city.
