If you met the person today that you think God intended you to be with, what would be the first question you would ask them? What would you most like to know about them?

What would be the first question you would ask him?
How long have you walked in obedience to the faith in our Lord?
What's your real name?

What would you most like to know about him?
What are your testimony & contribution in exposing the Gospel?
What's your understanding regarding believers & tattoos?
What are your Bible reading & prayer life habits?
Has any of your offspring ever been aborted?
What's your spending/debt-free habit?
Do you eat pork products?
...in that order. :)

Do you love God? Why do you say that?

Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?

Err, seriously, I highly doubt that it would be very profound. If I have the rest of my life to get to know this girl, I certainly don't think I'd have to rush into it. Maybe "how are you today" or "can I help you with that"...? Things tend to go better (in my experience) when they flow naturally.

As for what I would most want to know about them... well I want to know them, that's kind of a package deal, and definitely isn't something that they could answer in any less than a lifetime :)

Where have you been hiding all this time?

Do you like to talk about God?

I believe this is a very dangerous way to live life. Whether you believe in God or not, you shouldnt think he has THAT much control in your life. Do you have free will? Or is it fate? There are a lot of potential spouses in life. Some of us get lucky and meet them, some never find them. Some matches are better than ever. There is no true perfect. Just varying degree's.

To think that you will "know" when he or she comes can be very dangerous and makes you a bit delusional...you could actually miss out on Mr. Or Miss Right if your "divine intuition" fails you.

People need to take control of there own lives and not place God at such an important part of their day to day issues. You have to figure out some things for yourself. WITHOUT God's help...

This would, indeed, be a dangerous way to live...

Do you have scripture to support this lifestyle? My Bible says something entirely different...

1 Peter 5:7 - Cast ALL of your cares upon the Lord for He cares for you.

"In ALL OF YOUR WAYS acknowledge Him and He will direct your path"

My apologies for not posting the entire scripture above, but I was in a hurry earlier. I don't like to do that because it's best to read scripture contextually. So, here's the whole thing. :)

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
