- Do you rinse your mouth out after you brush your teeth?

yes

- If yes, do you use hot or cold water

Either. Sometimes I do it cold so I can get a drink after I rinse.

- What temperature water do you use to wash your hands?

I like warm. I have cold hands and arthritis. It also just feels good to put your hands under warm, running water.

- Toilet paper roll: Over or under?

Under.

- Right shoe or left shoe on first?

Left.

- Untie your shoes and then take them off when you get home, or just shove them off while still tied?

I leave them tied.

I love action movies. Bourne Identity is an absolute favorite. I also like sci-fi/fantasy. Lord of the Rings, Firefly/Serenity. Also love BBC classic mini-series movies, like Pride & Prejudice.
The Bourne Triology with Matt Damon was awesome! The 4th one, Legacy, without Damon was lacking. The 2005 film of Pride and Prejudice with Kiera Knightly was my favorite. I love the subtleties of the dialogue. It is so refreshing compared to the modern film ways of cramming the plot down your throat.

My favorite movie of all time is Gone With The Wind. I wanted to be Rhett Butler when I was younger. That transferred into being a Han Solo fan with the Star Wars trilogy. I really wanted to be a scoundrel, but ended up being too nice. DARN!

I really enjoy the love story movies of the 70s, The Way We Were, Goodbye Girl, Love Story, etc. Huh, I wonder why I ended up with a Stephen King horror movie for a marriage.

Ouch @ the Stephen King marriage - the irony, huh? I had a love story marriage with a Stephen King ending. Blah. LOL.

Yeah, the first Bourne movie was the best, and the second and third were great too. I didn't care for the 4th either. Have you seen BBC's P&P? It's like 5-6 hours long and follows the book almost word for word. Jane Austen sure had a way with words and humor. She was brilliant. :) I loved the original Star Wars too. Those are classic!

I've never seen BBC's Pride and Prejudice. I did really enjoy BBC's regular show Coupling though. They tried it with an US version but it didn't do well. The main character was played by Jack Davenport, who went on to play Norrington on the Pirates of the Carribean movies. A while back, I would watch Fawlty Towers, a BBC comedy with John Cleese as an English bed and breakfast owner. Hilarious!

I have seen quite a few English movies though, not with the BBC. Most had either Vivian Leigh, old timie, or Kiera Knightly. My favorite Kiera Knightly movie had to be Atonement. Definitely a comment on the dangers of bearing false witness. Both actresses seem to be in a lot of World War II love stories, or those are the ones I remember.

i just watched the Star Wars trilogy, IV - VI, on TV, and I didn't realize how much they changed from the originals. I'm sitting there with friends going, that's different, that wasn't in the original, they added those, ... I kept an open mind about I -III. I really liked Qui-Gon Jinn, then they had the oddassidy to kill him off, AND KEPT JAR JAR, REALLY! I should start a thread, "If Qui-Gon Jinn had lived, Anakin never would have become Darth Vader. It was all Obi-Wan's fault!" Of course, I did enjoy the love story between Anakin and Padme'.

There aren't too many movies nowadays that impress me. Way too much action, very little dialogue and content. I did enjoy watching BBC media on PBS, but for some strange reason, I can't get it up here. I guess my Teletubies addiction will just have to go unfulfilled.

This has nothing to do with being single, nor is it deep or meaningful. But, I'm curious to know.

Here's how it started: My dad and I were watching a sitcom, and the guy was brushing his teeth. When he was done, he just walked out with his wife into another room. I made the comment, "He didn't even rinse his mouth out afterwards!" My dad looked at me and said, "...I don't." "You don't??" I thought that was something everyone did. I also had a roommate who rinsed her mouth out afterwards with hot water, which I thought was strange. I get weird looks when I tell people I always wash my hands in cold water, even in the winter.

So, here are my questions, and feel free to ask some of your own! Yes, I'm in a strange mood.

- Do you rinse your mouth out after you brush your teeth?
- If yes, do you use hot or cold water?
- What temperature water do you use to wash your hands?
- Toilet paper roll: Over or under?
- Right shoe or left shoe on first?
- Untie your shoes and then take them off when you get home, or just shove them off while still tied?
yes, rinse mouth
with cold water
water 122.3 degrees Farenheit exactly
toilet paper over
right shoe first
untie shoes first

The Bourne movies are some of my favorites as well, but I don't like them because of Matt Damon, but rather because of the story. Ergo, I liked the fourth as much as I liked the first three.

Never heard the expression used that way. We have the expression "on the nose" and a separate one, "[to] hit the nail on the head," both of which meaning accurate or on target.

So, here are my questions, and feel free to ask some of your own! Yes, I'm in a strange mood.

- Do you rinse your mouth out after you brush your teeth?
Once after I brush my teeth, once after I brush my tongue, then once with cinnamon mouthwash. I don't know why.
- If yes, do you use hot or cold water?
Usually cold.
- What temperature water do you use to wash your hands?
I love to take very hot showers, but I know it can be drying to my hands as much as I wash them, so I usually use cold water followed by a ton of lotion.
- Toilet paper roll: Over or under?
Under, of course. Makes it easier to find the end in the dark. *shuns all of the over people*
- Right shoe or left shoe on first?
I kick my left shoe off into the closet when I get home, then the right. Once a week I put them all away in drawers by color.
- Untie your shoes and then take them off when you get home, or just shove them off while still tied?
No untying. Just kicking.
my question is, what kind of movies do you most enjoy and why?
1. Movies that make me laugh (But not man humor movies...you ladies know what I'm talkin' about)
2. Action movies. If Bruce Willis is in it, I'll probably like it.
3. Movies that don't permit me to figure out the ending within the first ten minutes.

One of my favorite movies: Secondhand Lions

You might ask Ugly. He apparently does a lot of concentrating on the head. :D

I've found that I am a pacer. If I try to sit down for a bit, I usually have to get up after a while. Though it also depends on who I'm talking to.

I normally stay in one place. If I'm talking with someone for business reasons, I'm usually taking notes. If I'm talking with someone for personal reasons, they are extremely special to me (because I really don't like to talk on the phone), so I will normally sit down and give them my full attention or talk with them as I'm driving.

It's an idiom, hit the nail on the head, it means to be right on something or do / say something exactly right.

Maybe you're referring to when I might speak off the top of my head?

To speak off the top of one's head means to speak off the cuff; to speak the first thought that comes to mind...impromptu speaking...
