Right now, I am very confused about my future, about life. Feeling quite inadequate every single day, wondering how I'll fare in my parents' shoes someday. Regretting not reaching out to others more often. Regretting. That is what I'm doing right now.
Been there, done that my friend. Can't say it's a very pleasant experience either.

My best advice would be to find an activity that will occupy your mind, and just try to accomplish as much good as possible with the time and resources you have available. "free time" is something I try to avoid having for that very reason. Staying busy gives me purpose and purpose gives me motivation.

Right now, I am in my hotel room, grouchy that I don't have my facial scrubbing sponge because I left my toiletries bag some 300 miles away at my friends house in Killeen. I am also slightly concerned because I am down to my last two peanut butter sandwiches.

(Meanwhile, I have a grocery bag filled with Asian candy and chips that I brought for GLR; another grocery bag filled with beef jerky and tinned fish that I've barely touched because I've been eating all of the peanut butter sandwiches; I got to do laundry in the middle of a road trip for free last night; and I'm considering changing brands of toothpaste because of the trial/travel toothpaste I bought last night after discovering I left my toiletries bag in Killeen. My life is one, 36-year long First World Problems meme. Feel free to remind me of this whenever you see me complain like I did just now, you know, to knock me back into my place.)

Your menu sounds like mine. I am too lazy to make peanut butter sandwiches so I just eat peanut butter crackers. I prefer to travel light and found that the simple things work best for me.
