You think women wear makeup because it's 1) It's fun, like clowns? 2) women are stupid and ignorant, or 3) women are insecure. I disagree. Women wear make up because they are correct in believing in makes them more attractive.

Hey, I flipped through some news channels and every woman I saw had makeup on, often a lot. Do you think the producers of news channels are going for fun? Do you think the producers are all ignorant about what viewers want? Do you think they're insecure. Ripping apart your position is too easy.

My original post specifically referred to, in the context of dating, women "not wearing makeup" (I didn't address cost or quantity beyond zero makeup). The mindless hysteria that has followed my post shows a purely emotion reaction. Obviously, it can't be because what I say isn't surprising or false, as established by the fact that most women do wear makeup, and most guys date women who wear makeup, showing they see value in it, value I'm pointing out. So, why the mindless hysteria?

I didn't say anything about makeup being a priority, especially at the expense of food. Are you really trying to set up a false dichotomy of lipstick vs. bread? If you're truly hungry, buy bread over lipstick.

amen, i agree. put on makeup if you want, and if you don't want don't. I am old but i never notice a woman because of the makeup she has on, never

Women enjoy shopping for make up. So, you argue that women wear makeup because they like to spend money? Do men enjoy buying paint to paint a house? "The house doesn't need painting, but I just like to buy paint."
