This is a test using "advanced form" reply. If this forum is working properly these sentences should be double spaced. If it is not working properly all these sentences should be in one big paragraph. This test is initiated as a result of me posting just a few minutes ago and the forum lumping all I said into one paragraph. This is only a test. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

It STILL did it! What in the world? The Enter key no longer works in this world! It shows up as double spaced in this window I'm typing in, but when I hit Post button it removes all Enter spaces.

It does remove double spaces. It should still recognize a paragraph break though. This happened to me a few months ago, and I ended up needing to update my browser. Try it in another browser and see if it's still messed up.

It removes double spaces?

It never did that before...

And this browser is updated. Linux Mint 17 OS, Firefox browser.

But I just rebooted, so let's see if anything is cleared up.

Well that's more like it. Sometimes a computer just needs a reboot.

Which is why it is SO STUPID that the last three Windows OS have "Sleep mode" as the default action when the power button is pressed. Come on Microsoft! Normal people (non nerds) don't usually know to reboot the computer every so often. Some of my friends don't even know what reboot is, they just know they hit the power button when they are through with the computer.

On a related note, chat quote for the day:
*silverex has entered
silverex: thank you to all who were trying to help me with my computer problem
silverex: i rebooted and it cleared everything up
silverex: turns out i haven't rebooted in about a year and a quarter

Sooo I went shopping today.
I will tell you what was bought:

I am a cheapo, so I went to goodwill and bought a few used clothing items. I got five shirts, a pair of skinny jeans, a swan looking thing and a sparkly soap bottle for 28 dolla.

Then I went to Walmart. dun. dun . dun.
I bought 5 dozens of eggs for less than 8 dollars. Yes! It existed.

And then I bought a couple of rugs for future apartment.
and. organic carrot juice. lol.

The end.

I think many of us that grew up without many modern "technological conveniences" view them as just that.....conveniences whereas the generation that grew up always having them view them as necessities.

Take for example the cell phone, sure I enjoy the convenience of having one however, I don't go into spastic convulsions if I happen to leave it at home. Most younger people that I know can't go more than an hour without checking their Facebook via their smartphone without going through withdrawal symptoms.
Facebook is a worthless app that ruins a perfectly good phone with annoying updates and wastes ram.

I'll use my smart phone to look things up on the internet at work though - I wouldn't do anything political/religious on a work connection. And text is pretty convenient, though I don't get anxious if it takes me a few hours to respond to one.

I'm an odd one though, most of my friends can't make it 10 minutes.

And, as silly as this is, sometimes I use my phone to get in 10 minutes of netflix when I'm shaving. Two days and I can go through one episode of something.

Jaq-Attack wins everything tonight for using the phrase, "28 dolla."

Oof! Marry me!

Actually, that's a touch premature. There was no mention of bacon, steak, or any other meat, or even a breakfast veg of some kind. Still though, a woman after my own heart.

OKay, so I'm trying to realize I can't be responsible for everyone's happiness. I can't ensure that. HOWEVER, I still need to do my job and do what I need to do.

One awkward moment slightly averted for the evening, another awkward moment tomorrow of the same nature. Avoidance of contact is key- no leading on. But tomorrow! Tomorrow, I'll surely be asked why I haven't be responding to his text messages, in which I will reply, because I gave it to you for business purposes, not to be creeped. I don't know you. Maybe I will be nicer though.

My plumber sent me a text, shortly after fixing our shower and kitchen sink, encouraging me to finish work, come home, and take a long hot shower...with a winky face.

So we went to a play tonight at the convention center. Never been in there before. The play was called UrineTown. Don't ask. (It was actually pretty good.)

Had to use the bathroom, ironically. (No surprise for anyone who knows me.)

Walk to where two bathrooms are located.

See the first door, which is labeled "men".
(Noooo, don't go in that one!)

Go in the one next to it instead.

Use bathroom.

Walk out of stall.

Head to sink.

Glance to my left.

See long row of urinals.

Heart beating faster.

Breathing more difficult.

Mild panic!

Slink out of bathroom as ninja-like as possible.

Look casually at plate next to door. "Men".

Yep. Two mens' bathrooms. Side by side. Those TROLLS.

Yeah, I would have gone over the bathroom with a fine tooth comb looking for hidden cameras before I got in the shower that night.
