Yikes! That's intense. I'm not good with blood and body parts flying everywhere.
*crosses Tintin off of her "people to be on my team for the Zombie Apocalypse" list* :)

just checked and saw that Julianna has not recently profile stalked me.

**leaves thread disappointed**
*profile stalks Catherder to correct offense*

I profile stalked the people showing up on my profile activity list. I wanted to see who else was crazy enough to be up at such an insane hour. :)

me too, Lil.
I have now gone to desperation by buying a hamburger, in hopes that this will intise my new dog down the stairs, so he won't go in my apartment. If this doesn't work, I think I'm begging lynx to come over and see if he can scare him down. Sigh, I'll post the results later.

Ooooh, I've had the same exact thing happen to me before. My dog can go up steps but doesn't like going DOWN steps. He's gone upstairs and it's been a miracle we've gotten him down.

Jullianna mentioning that she needed to buy a sewing machine made me remember that it was exactly one year ago today that I got my baby.

P1200936.jpg

It's a vintage Kenmore, about 40 years old. I love it, it even makes a chain stitch! Woohoo! But when I got it, it hadn't been used for a while and it was kind of gummed shut with gunk and old oil. A lot of the parts wouldn't move, but I took the problems one at a time and looked them up on the internet (like, I looked up "sewing machine won't zig zag" and found the problem that way. Then "sewing machine won't drop its feed dogs", etc.) Finally, after one bent screwdriver, lots of oil, new motor belts, and a hairdryer, everything works perfectly. It was missing its stitch cams too, but I found them on ebay.

One thing I really love about it is that the entire metal case comes off, so you can see the gears and everything working inside. I love seeing how things work. The whole thing is metal pretty much, and it's much heavier and stronger than the little one I had been using before.

My mom has one almost exactly like that. :) It used to be her mom's.

That reminds me, I need to take mine to the shop and have it checked out. Not sure how old it is, but probably older then me.

I think I'm gonna skip church tonight. I've been good at going every week. Today I am tired. Slept 14 hours last night. I think I'll get groceries, chill and head to bed early again. A lot of running around to do this week again -.-

This thread is devoted to those random thoughts that have been mulling over in your mind as you go through your day. Maybe be deep thoughts, profound thoughts, funny thoughts, etc. any thoughts that you'd like to share with the rest of your fellow human beings that going through this crazy thing called life.

Disclaimer:

Ideally, I would like this to be a place to write down your thoughts, and 'like' posts. And not be a conversation thread
. But I realize, I can't prevent derails. People talk.
The only thoughts I seem to ever have worth remembering are of being in Jesus' bosom all day and night, warm and snug in his arms with my head on his heart forever more. Knowing He will be with me even unto the ends of forever, that He will never leave nor forsake me as He promised, yea even swore to me with an oath on His own Name. And that blissfully soon, I will shed this mortal coil and be clothed upon with that Heavenly Body of Christ Himself and be exactly like Him and see Him as He is. Nothing else do I seem to recall of any significance
