I am sorry to hear this. It must be very disappointing. I will pray right now for the Club and for God to work out His way.

Thank you, our church started this group years ago. It was once a big group of kids. Now there are 8, but it does bring in kids from the neighborhood, some who really need the encouragement and go all the way through high school and still keep coming to the church as adults.

Apparently these two people who had a disagreement were arguing over one of the little girls passing out cookies before the kids ate the dinner they make. I know this little girl she comes to my Sunday School class, she wanted to pass out these cookies she made with her Grandma. I don't know why it was a big deal that she pass them out before they ate. It's not like that happens all the time. When she took them out of the kitchen someone got mad and said something, then someone said a very nasty thing that she and another one of the kids from my Sunday School class over heard.

The thing is a couple of the people that help, don't like each other, and they are both very negative people who complain all the time. I'm not sure why the one woman continues to come, she doesn't attend church services and makes up excuses not to help. So I told my Sister yesterday that I have a lot of stories and lessons from class and I would come and help her. Then she told me what happened and many of the kids 6 out of 8 probably won't be coming back. My Sister offered to call the parents and talk to them, but they want to talk to the woman who said the things she did, but she won't talk to them.

I might talk to the parents when they bring the kids to Sunday school. I really think it'd be best if this woman that said these things was asked not to come back. I hate to say that, but she's really not helping.

That's horrible, Fenner. :( Feel bad for the kids. I think its time to let that woman go. Her services are no longer needed.

I made calzones for dinner...you know, outside-in pizza. Now I'm about to fix a cup of coffee and steal the last slice of pie.

I was thinking...I have these clear, iridescent ornaments on the tree, and it's neat how they look like bubbles, but it would be even moooore neat if they had little glowing monkeys or origami swans inside them. Or glowing origami swan monkeys. Or origami swans made by glowing monkeys. Or maybe just some glitter.

Gotta keep it classy, and all that.

...Yeah, classy.
Then why is the ninja still sad? Mint chocolate cures all kinds of sadness. :D
You know what's sad is all these references to monkeys and monkey boys. "Nobody" actually said "monkeyboy" but i know what "they" were thinking (misscris). Wasn't easy growing up as.......... a monkeyboy.

My dad tried to make it fun..

monkeybaby.jpg

but, really it wasn't until digital cameras really started getting popular that i started to see things - notice that i wasn't like other kids. Like i got a new suit for a school dance and I was really proud of my new threads. My family - I don't know, it was like they didn't even want to take my picture. I should have left it alone.

my name's kenthomas

and I'm a monkeyboy. :(

Aww I had a feeling that you're a monkey boy. Was your Dad Michael Jackson?

I agree Zero, the sad thing is that she will flambaste our church where ever she can if they do that. I am a Facebbok friend of hers and if ever she doesn't like the service somewhere or she's angry at someone, which is all the time, she blasts, the person, company service or whatever on Facebook. I never respond because I know it's a sad cry for attention. It's amazing to me how many people jump on her band wagon too. They're hearing her side, which if you read enough of her posts or talk to her for any amount of time you'd realize that she's always saying something bad about someone.

Well, I'm moved into my new place. My parents just left. We spent a lot of time on Saturday getting things in and yesterday we worked for another 15 hours. It looks great and all that I have left to do is organize the small stuff. My parents helped so much, I am so thankful for them. I hope to be parents like them someday.

This is so hard, still. I am sitting on my couch crying. I will survive. It's just something I will get used to.

I really, really hope that the woman is asked not to come back. I think your church has to take a stand and ask her not to be involved with the Sunday School for some time. That may do a world of good for your Sunday School, though it will take a lot of convincing and prayers to make the parents let the kids come again. But I wish that God speaks to that woman and she has a change of heart. I will keep praying for this problem, Fenner. The last thing thing we want is to have little kids stumble and lose their faith because of one wrong person. :(

You are a brave girl, racheledge. You've made it thus far. Now it's only about settling down and getting into the daily grind. It's almost over. :)

Father, I pray for rachelsedge. Thank you for helping her out with the shifting. Thank you for helping her to pack, move and unpack. Thank you for giving her such wonderful parents to help her out with the shifting. Thank you for giving her and her parents the strength and the courage to do the organizing. Bless her new home, Lord. Let your presence fill the place. Let it be like the temple of Solomon when he dedicated it to you, O Father. Let her feel at home in this new place. Let her home be a blessing to her and to all who visit the home. Please undertake for the rest of the organizing. Give her the courage to live in the place. Preserve her from all harm and preserve her from the enemy. Be a wall of fire round about the house and keep her and her things safe, Lord. Fill her heart with peace and with the reassurance that you are watching over her. All this I ask in Jesus' name, Amen.

My computer desk is literally littered with the entrails of ants that I keep squishing, since they somehow are coming out of the keyboard. How does this even happen

They like the heat that comes from the keyboard..strange but true..lol :) Take some Lysol, clean up the ant guts, and wipe down your desk..ugh ..I'm surprised they're not also inside your computer..

Fortunately it's not my home computer, it's the school's computer. Still gross, but I can't really get to cleaning it sadly...

Things NOT to do when I'm already running late-
straighten my stupid, stupid hair
wait til the last minute to warm up the van when it's 15 degrees out
discover a hole in my pants
lose the house keys
post on CC how late I'm about to be to my dentist appointment...

OY! Snap! Going now!

For me, I couldn't care less if I'm late to a dentist appointment. I just sorta say "Ooops, hope they move on without me today." Never happens. Ugh.

Bought my Keurig, and bought my treadmill for really cheap. It's a really simple one, it doesn't even have a motor. But I don't need anything fancy in that area, if it does the job it does the job! Plus, it folds up and has wheels for easy transportation.

My views on Christmas:

People try to keep the Christ out of Christmas and keep it non-religious. But they can't. Even the alternatives (such as Happy Holidays and Xmas) have religious roots. But they're the "non-offensive" version, and that bugs me a lot. People talk about how it can be considered a pagan holiday because December 25th was a pagan holiday, how it has pagan roots.

Here's how I see it. If we're not praying to a tree, and putting some dumb tree above Christ or as an absolute priority in life, who cares? As for what day we celebrate it on, we celebrate it on that day because the Roman church decided to attempt to Christianize a pagan holiday. In today's time, my opinion is, it's not (or shouldn't be) about what day we celebrate on. It's about WHO we celebrate, and that is Jesus Christ. :) It wouldn't be any different than celebrating it on June 25th in my opinion.

And then, the gifts. The gifts are just to show people we love and appreciate them. And thinking about it, Jesus gave the ultimate gift - the gift of salvation to mankind. The gift of having a relationship with Him. So why wouldn't we freely give?
