Ugly is right - - it's not just an over 40's thing. Many churches don't seem to acknowledge singles once they are past college age. I am sorry you are experiencing this. I've begun saying "no" to things my church has asked me to do so that I have time to attend a few singles functions at a larger church the next town up. Maybe you can do something like this or look online for Christian singles events and fellowship.

I wonder what it takes to get a video to get so popular. I mean, I guess you have to be consistent with video uploading...but...I dunno. I'm an impatient person. I guess I feel like I wish more people were interested in my videos. But everyone always wants to hear someone sing. It's all about your vocal skills. Never your instrumental skills. But maybe I need more practice, more lessons to REALLY get myself out there.

I used to play cards with my cousin, she was like smoking me at 'gin.' It a fun game , just so you know, and, shobro, maybe, learning 'gin' could be a good way to have a date, you could break out the cards at the date table and, the Lord leads, she just might really like cards But, that's not what I was saying here, truly, what I was saying is that I got tired of getting beat my 10 year younger cousin so I went and got a book of Hoyle on cards strategy and read the gin section and went back and played my cousin and I began to win some of the time. It was more fun for her and me really although she didn't mind my losing all the time, I guess, she wasn' the one getting tired of playing , I was. But, after I read that Hoyle book it was fun again, for me
Now, I say that because sometimes we don;'t think things are something we do good and in that case , no matter what is is , we need to figure out ways to get better and though I didn't mention God in getting better at gin that is what I mean, we need to ask God 'God, how can I improve at this area of my life.' And , whether it's singing or drumming or french horn playing learning or what the shy-pony-boy whatever, we need to bring our voice to God for His 'lesson' for us to understand His orchestration and the result of our faith in what He pushes us toward will be instrumental in making us take that next step, that blesses us and gives Him what He wants us to give Him, all the glory told of Him moving us along that road

Tithing at 10% was a temple tax in the Old Testament and is not a valid New Testament issue. It was payment to the priests. There is no set specification on giving. You give what you can afford, or feel is right to give. God wants a cheerful giver, no one feeling bound to give up money they don't want, or guilty because they can't afford it. If you think 10% is a good idea, then go for it. If not, then go with what you feel is right.

2 Cor. 8, 9 and ten to me answer the tithe issue. That we are under the heart of giving, to give what we have, and that could be anywhere from 1% to 100% as God purposeth in your heart. Not necessarily to a Church either, could be neighbors that you know are in need and God leading you to secretly give
Matthew 6:4 that thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
