Ick. When someone has you on speakerphone and you can hear yourself in lagging. So it sounds like you're repeating yourself. Lol

I don't even need the speakerphone.

I don't even need the speakerphone.

I'm just repeating myself.

I'm just... (ok, ok.) :p

And technically, it's not REALLY repeating myself. It's just two of my voices saying the same things.

I've been told that under no circumstances should I ever be the owner of any kind of power tool.

And I'm just over here like...Does. Not. Compute. I NEED TOOLS.

I'll figure out how to operate them later...
Ah, you left me in stitches!

Carol,

I think that room looks AWESOME, but also way TOO DANGEROUS for me to ever walk into.

Kudos to others who could have a room in their house like that.

But as for me... I manage to hurt myself with a mere vegetable peeler. I can't imagine what would happen if I tried to enter a room with HANGING SWORDS!

Only if I lived in a hospital. And even then.

"What seems to be the injury, ma'am?"

"I think I decapitated myself..."
Well, you can get a sword that's not got a sharpened edge... most people don't hang battle ready swords on the wall. I have dangerous objects all over the place here, and you know what I usually get hurt doing? Stubbing my toe, or banging my knee on a desk, or walking into a door, etc.

It's never pretty when I'm left to my own devices when it's dinnertime and I'm home alone.

I feel like I eat really terribly when no one is around.

I clicked on a New Forum Posts link and my foot almost touched ground in the BDF. But I was too fast for them and quickly retreated.

Ok, so THAT was a bit of a scare... And this time I don't mean the Bible Discussion Forum.

I was eating a number of black grapes straight off the cluster, and as I lifted the bunch to suck down yet another, I happened to glance up and faintly saw something move. "Wait," I thought, " Are these grapes are moving by themselves?!" I almost wish they were.

The real culprit?

A black spider about the size of a nickel was crawling across the grape I was about to eat.

Fortunately, I'm not all that scared of spiders. Worms, frogs, overzealous door-to-door evangelists, yes, but spiders, not so much. I just took the grapes to the sink and washed the spider down the drain.

But oh my goodness. That was a close one. I almost got myself an extra dose of protein.

Everyone should have one of those dash cameras and they should be wirelessly connected to the police so every time some jerk cuts you off, their license plate will be recorded by the cops and they will instantly be issued a ticket or arrested as soon as they park.

That is all.

Oh my word. Me too.

Though I'm pretty terrified of spiders. Last night I opened a window and there was one the size of a penny. So Dad tried to take it outside first, trying to be all humane and whatnot....ummm...long story short, it backfired, we almost lost it a few times trying to kill it. I ended up jumping on my recliner/rocking chair because I was too afraid that it'd crawl across my foot.

My supervisor asks me, "Do you think I should eat the noodle right now?" sort of half inquiring, half thinking out loud ("the noodle" being his ramen).

I'm just sitting here like...

I told my boss this morning I was sleepy. Then after lunch...

Boss: are you still sleepy?
Me: nope! I'm wide awake now! :D
Boss: sometimes, I don't know what to do with you.

Wait. Wat?

I'll let you in on a little secret, Melita. :p

Sometimes WE don't know what to do with you either (because you're too dang adorable.)

That's why we want you to stick around... so that we have time to decide... (Don't you worry, we are going to try our best to marry you off!) ;)

P.S. I keep forgetting to tell you, I love your new glasses!! They're almost exactly what I'm hoping to find when I look for a new pair, too.
