Made breakfast for dinner for my family.

Need to get some homework done. (Some meaning quite a bit, actually.)

Excited for a Christian retreat I'm going on early next month. :D

I was a little embarrassed today. I took my daughter to Toys R Us to spend some of her birthday money. She wanted a toy well over the amount she had to spend. I suggested that she save for it, but she thought it would be a better idea for me to pull out my debit card and pay the rest, I said no. She had a fit. I yelled at her, I don't like yelling in public or private. I did get some sympathy looks from other parents. I don't like drama or making a scene, but oh well everything calmed down and it was ok. I counted to 5 took a deep breath and all was ok.

I am going to be productive today.

No, really...
Seriously, guys! Stop laughing! I'm being serious! :p

lol I wasn't productive today and that's okay. XD

You can't really be productive when you're busy being at a funeral and spending time with family. >.>

This has really taken a toll on me. Last night, obviously, was a little rough. But after I'd posted that, one of the youth kids on the worship team texted me asking if I was okay and stuff. And I told her things were a little rough, and she was all encouraging to me and stuff. She's so sweet. I didn't really tell anyone else on the worship team besides the youth pastor about what happened... I don't even know why. It just didn't come across my mind. But the youth pastor ended up telling her, and hopefully he told the others. I won't be seeing them at church this Sunday because my dad's still getting married (Though the celebration at the fancy restaurant was cancelled. It didn't feel right to do it. So just a super small ceremony right after their church service is all we're gonna be doing.)

Mmm yummy.

Tacos for lunch. Each consisting of:

1 soft shell
1 small bunch of raw kale
1 small bunch of raw broccoli
1 small bunch of cooked onions and mushroooms
1 filling of heated "re fried" beans
1 sprinkling of salt
1 drizzling of Italian dressing

I fell asleep on the couch while laying here staring at the ceiling fan. I actually intended to be reading, but by the time I got comfortable and opened my book...meh. But I think that's a pretty clear sign that my brain has clocked out and that it would be wise to go to bed.

I feel old. I shouldn't make a habit of it.

Noooooo you ruined it!! :p

kidding. :D I haven't had tacos in a while, mostly because the spices used in tacos started to give me maaaajor heartburn/acid reflux issues.

But I might try again and try to use maybe some milder spices or something.

No acid reflux with that recipe. :) Perhaps if one over does the Italian. But there's no meat, so should be no problems. The Kale and Broccoli are the best parts. ;)

I've already slept and I have church tonight. Or should I say in less than an hour.

Molly, may you sleep a peaceful slumber in Christ's arms and be refreshed for Sunday. :)

I had a couple of drinks (literally; that's not colloquial for "I got plastered"), discussed the story of Cain and Abel with a friend, and soon after took a drive up the mountain road to ponder among the stars and witness people speeding up the winding highway in their rice rockets.

It is relatively horrid to be back "home" but, perhaps now more than ever, I realize that this is unlikely to be a permanent settlement. Life is too grand to have sport at the same places, with the same company, and under the same sky every night. Taking to the road is coming soon.

Thank you very much, Tin! I think I am gonna go to bed and give it a shot. I hope you have a good day and enjoy the service. :)

Sounds brilliant, brother! It's important to get to the point where we can be content with where God has us now, while hoping for something more. Bless you. :)
