Don't even know why I bother sometimes...Every time I think things are finally calming down and I can finally breathe I get hit with ten more curve balls. Really life? Oooooooh you sweet villain you. :p
And without those curve balls how will we learn truth from error? not punishment, a way to be perfected in knowing truth from error, maybe?

I've always thought that people who specifically set out to be different are being no more true to themselves than people who try to fit in. If clothes catch your eye, that probably means that you like the clothes. But if you see something in a store and your first reaction is "This might make me look hip", I'd say that the clothes are probably not "you".

In general though, if you like jeans and Victorian blouses, your style probably IS hip and different. Not because it tries to be, but just because it is. Nothin' wrong with that.
great insight to you to us from God our only true lover

I hate it when I can't figure out how to make friends with a person. Like, I want to talk to them and get to know them, but I'm afraid they're gonna be all, "This chick is either a weirdo, or hitting on me"...which would absolutely NOT be true...well, the second part, anyway. I freely admit I'm an odd duck. Anyway, so then I come up with a tooootally lame excuse to talk to them, and hit a brick wall because...D'OH, it was tooootally lame, and I can't blame them for not really responding to it.

Sometimes I feel like I am waiting for the hammer to fall. I'm feeling that way now. Wonder what You are trying to teach me now? You know I am thick-headed. You will have to make it easier for me if you want me to understand. Maybe You will work something good into my life? I can only have faith.
Maybe, belief no matter what it appears to be like in front of you, that God promised to see us through
If our parents know how t give us good gifts, how much more can our heavenly Father give?
I see it as life that I needed new way of thinking that I needed, to see as God sees, just maybe, you decide, I have.

You probably need new hands. I had that happen once...so I went to the doctor and he said, "Yep, these need replaced." And they put me on a gurney and started operating, and when I woke up, I had these attached to the ends of my arms:

So now, when I get all upset and wave my hands at my face to dry the tears, it's super annoying and I get asked to leave a lot of places.

Life with plastic clappy hands=tragedy :(
It's all in the way you handle your deformity. Miley Cyrus is adjusting nicely...

But your child may have a rocky-er road.....

and it did kinda ruin those Sunday night sing-a-longs....

**I fouled up deleting a borderline pic, please repost minus the miley pic...Oncefallen
While I'm just thrilled with this deletion honor - really as happy as an armadillo with a safety vest - I will say I'm a little taken back by this obvious discrimination against people with the big hands. Having the Mickey Mouse Syndrome is no joke and I'm sure folks like Misscris and others with this infirmity would appreciate the same rights and inclusion granted those with the regular hands. I hope the next time Misscris writes something in this forum, it might give us all pause to know the effort and time it took.

I wonder if Jullianna will be conflicted this Sunday night as her beloved Colts host her love, Peyton Manning, and his Broncos?

Side note: John Elway was drafted by the Baltimore Colts but refused to play for them so he went to Denver. The Indianapolis Colts released Peyton and he went to Denver where he is playing his best ever. I wonder if Andrew Luck is looking for a house right now in Denver?
Nope, not conflicted. Will be cheering for the Broncos because of the disrespectful things the Colts' owner said about one of the classiest QBs in the history of the game (Peyton). Grrrrrrr @ him!

How does one openly praise Jesus and glorify His name on a daily basis, especially when trials and tribulations arise? How does one keep the belief and faith in the Words of the Bible and apply it to daily life? What it is supposed to look like to actually follow Jesus Christ? Does this portrayal look different in everyone? Or are we all synchronized by the grace and death of the Messiah?

God, I wish I could get answers from Christ Himself. All this faith business feels like I'm chasing an invisible tail. I could dig deeper, but I might end up with another theology that might drive me even crazier.

I've been awake for almost six hours now, and the most productive thing I've done so far is keep children alive. The rest of my time...has been thoroughly wasted. I'm a little upset about this.

...so now I'm going to take a nap, because...that's the next logical step in wasting the rest of the day.

Give them ice cream. That always addds to a day's productivity, especially in the kids' eyes, mizcris :)

I'm doing nothing too, a lot of nothing, the week was hard on me, the Congress situation was tough on my brain noodles, making them greener than usual, and, that's no gray matter, let me tell you. Thankfully, my day trades turned out good and the Lord leads no matter what, but to get green in a crazy gray government uncertain week is a big blessing but... I barely slept four hours each of the last two nights, wed. and ,thurs., before last night that I welcomingly slept in, thank you, Jesus ! I don't know about this stuff. Praying. I appreciate your prayers too. God is good. :) and, though better this sat. morn, watching Tennessee win last minute, pet my dog, wrastle her, I still groggy, and, am still pretty zombie-like and would pass for one of those on 'World War Z' I am certain if thrown in on a scene . :D

Sometimes, I look at the title for a thread and think, "Oh, good, I was wondering about that!" Only to find that I am more confused after reading it. So many different interpretations that I just don't know what to think. I guess that's the nature of the beast when all are Christian, but of different denominations? Not even sure if that's the right word. I'm terribly confused at times.

If keeping a healthy physique were easy in our American culture, we wouldn't have an obesity epidemic!

(I don't know about you, but all the motivation I need is knowing that no man on my father's side of the family has made it to the age of 60 without either having a heart attack, or flat out dying of other health reasons. I am bound and determined to prove that my last name doesn't sentence me to ballooning up to 250+ lbs after the age of 35.)
Your name hasn't anything to do with it. Eat a balanced diet, smaller portions, don't be a glutton and exercise regularly.
Get your big ego out of the way and don't try to satisfy it's cravings, You are not dealing with man alone, but with demons and
principalities and their temptations.

Errr... what does ego have to do with it? All reasons for weight maintenance had to do with health.

Please pray for me...a joint in my right thumb is hurting really bad...I'm too young to have joint issues, in my opinion. *sigh* Though it doesn't help I haven't taken any fish oil for a while (though I took some a few minutes ago)
