I wish I had access to a D-WAVE quantum computer. It would make the task of running iterations on my fractal geometry equations a lot quicker process. Silly how even with modern powerful home PCs a person can still lock them into a 100% processing state for weeks at a time. Estimated time to completion for my latest proof - 13 days, 22 hours, 9 minutes
Making an ogg vorbis copy of my (9000+ track) music collection takes less than a day, and ogg is a fairly complex lossy format.

So I gotta ask... what in the world kinda proof are you running?

I'm working on my research, which is a theoretical model of holographic data storage. I'm using a modified Mandelbrot set as my basis of the framework, and I am running 750,000,000 iterations of it. It's not just the math that's locking the machine up, but the rendering of each keyframe of the analysis. It's using almost every bit of my 16GB of ram in the machine.

You guys DO know that the main trick isn't starving, but eating healthy and moving?
(Just checking, because an alarming nr of people don't seem to know)
I did this lol when I did nothing in my life but train for blizzCon tournament (video game tournaments, WoW). And I got to around 86lbs. I couldnt even get to the bathroom without nauseating. I was constantly starving and it was amazingly stupid. I'm thankful I didnt catch any disease during my malnourished days tho.

Now I enjoy every meal like a feast.

I'm one of those people who can't seem to put on weight. I've maxed out at 85 kilograms, but I'm 196cm tall (6'5") so I'm a skinny rake. I need to exercise more regularly just so I feel better and sleep better.

Well there's your problem. Siri? Siri-ously? Get an android phone. My pastor's iJunk is alwa... I mean my pastor's iPhone is always taking us to strange places. Fortunately his wife has a real phone that always knows how to get where the church bus needs to go.

to be honest.... I REALLY wish I could go BACK to the razor phone... That thing was my favorite phone out of all the cell phones that have been made.

I only got the iPhone cause I was told it was the easiest phone to use, which It is... So not by choice but by ease, I use the iPhone.

That I will admit, and I will even add to it that Mac stuff is durable. In fact if a missionary is going to a country that doesn't have ebay or amazon.com I like to see him taking a Mac with him. Easy-to-use and durable are Apple's strong points.

So a couple of weeks ago I noticed this black sticky stuff on the rim of my pool. I noticed my filter coming out dark. So I clean everything, the toys , the walls of the pool, scrub the pool floor and change the filter. Next day it's back. I have no idea what it is, driving me nuts so I Google, black goo in pool. It's Black Algae. Ewwwww! Luckily I caught it before it got bad. Had to scrub and clean everything again. I didn't even know there was such a thing as black algae. Well it's sticky and disgusting.

Oh no. Your pool is turning into the Black Lagoon! (a.k.a., an old B movie from the 50's)

I'm really stringent on keeping it clean. You'd think my house would be really clean but it's not. I feel like Joan Crawford with that pool, if you don't know who she is Google her. She hated dirt.
