Apparently, I left my car lights on overnight about 14 hours to be exact and it started fine. Changing my battery tomorrow since it is 7 years old, I was afraid it would die on me this winter. Kind of having second thoughts that I may be down grading by putting the new battery in. Right now I have 750 cold cranks and I would be going down to 700. Seems like I have super powered battery currently in the car, I would hate to replace it with something subpar
That's '750 cold cranking amps,' arwenbaggins

Hmmmm, do you have an 'interstate battery' type place in Canada? They test batteries for free. That one you got now is a real winner, based on the fact you left the headlights on for 14 hours and still started right up.
Some batteries are maintenance free and some have water in them. keeping water up to top (so copper core submerged) in those little capped vestibules is important.
But, yeah, I would check with a battery place, I think, even a place like O'REilly's or Autozone tests batteries for free, they have portable machines and can come out there and tell you if it needs replaced.
You said the battery was 7 years old so that is a long time, i'm just green and trying to save you money, milady
But, you don't want to be stranded either sometime in the cold somewhere of a Canyadayadayada winter soooooo that peace of mind can be worth a new battery even though the one you got seems to be doing the job, and, then some, still.
