I think I may have been too harsh on Lynx last night regarding all the old threads he resurrected. I haven't seen him at all since then...

Sorry, Lynx! I'm over the zombie thread thing... Maybe I overreacted a bit. Sorry!

I'm fine. I just haven't had anything to say yesterday, so I didn't say it.

In other news, that sticker "I voted... and it's about to start raining frogs" made me laugh for more than a minute.

In local news, I was counting on half the evening crew at work to suddenly come down with a mysterious illness and not be at work last night. On Halloween it is almost a tradition for people to call in sick and me to rack up overtime. Not that I wanted it, but I was kind of expecting it to happen. But I only stayed over a couple of hours, and only because one person was going to be late. Very strange day yesterday, getting off work at close to the normal time. Weird.

I'm more old school with that Movie. Depp was way too much like a creepy person in that movie. Course if could have just been the movie setting, and his character look so unnatural, while Wilder looked human. Bu then again, Gene Wilder will always be Willy Wonka to me.
The newer movie is very close to the book by Ronald Dahl, it's got some dark humor.

No they're harmless if you leave them alone. It's the knids you have to watch out for.

Last night with trick or treating and trotting my dachshund from house to house dressed up like a hotdog exhausted me. The dog cried every time the kids went up to a house and she couldn't go with them. She just wanted to be with the kids. I'm pretty sure she got more attention than the kids did. We had a good time. :)

Why does she have to have another yard sale...why why why! Why can't she use craigslist? Now I have to help her get everything setup and then stand outside all day watching and then help pack everything up when its over...ugh! They outlawed them in some cities here...but not ours!

Shopping at them is fun... having them isn't, at least not for me. And she just had one in the spring and 95% of the stuff went unsold. Only about 5 or 6 people showed up, some with their kids or spouse in tow. No one even has yard sales where we live. We've been here over 20 years and I haven't seen a single yard sale here. People here are not into them. They have rather expensive tastes around here..
