I finally saw "The Nightmare Before Christmas." I thought it was very boring and I don't see what the big deal is. :p

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I guess I love the music and the animation. I turned this one for my kid's when they were 4 and 5 years old and I thought , oh no! What was I thinking? But when it was over they both said, let's watch it again. For weeks they watched it over and over.

I never saw, "The Nightmare Before Christmas." What's the storyline? Who are the main characters? Is it a scary Halloween movie or a Christmas tale? Any cool music in it?
Its been many years since I've seen it. It's not really scary. From what I remember it's like a goth halloween movie...kind of sad and morbid but not scary. The characters are kind of cute and whimsical. It could have been a disney halloween movie.

Molly, as of this moment you and I are not friends.

I am not joking  lol
I was never your friend to begin with. :p

It's a Disney movie where the skeleton lives in a Halloween world and he discovers the Christmas world...so he tries to bring that into the Halloween world. It's weird that I didn't like this one because I loved Corpse Bride...which is also a Tim Burton film. But I don't know...maybe people hype it up too much and I was expecting more?

Took my daughter trick or treating, now we're passing out candy. I've eaten so much I think I might be sick.

We watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory again Saturday. That was also directed by Tim Burton. Johnny Depp made me laugh, he was a good Willy Wonka. His interactions with the kid's were so funny. I'm Violet Boreguard, oh, I don't care. He was so odd and neurotic that it cracked me up.

LAPD just turned a woman into swiss cheese at the end of a dangerous car chase.... :(

In another chase happening around the same time also with the LAPD, a guy rammed two cop cars and they didn't even shoot him.

This is the guy who didn't get shot..

I liked Depp in that movie too. The oompa loompas kinda creeped me out though.

I'm more old school with that Movie. Depp was way too much like a creepy person in that movie. Course if could have just been the movie setting, and his character look so unnatural, while Wilder looked human. Bu then again, Gene Wilder will always be Willy Wonka to me.
