So I just poked my nose in the YouSing room... nobody sings. It's the YouPlayTheRadio room.

Frankly if I wanted to listen to popular christian songs I could get them on youtube, in better audio quality. It's no fun if I'm the only one actually singing.

Once my life settles down some, I'd totally go to the yousing room and sing with you...

2 semesters ago my CRJ Professor, who happens to be a cop, once told us the opposite of what anyone else would tell you. As a cop she learned in life and told us, always look over your shoulder and live your life thinking someone is going to betray you. She said, she only trust 2 people in life, her mom and God and her mom is dead. Basically she said, make friends but don't trust them.

Soooo... sloooooow...

A coworker handed me a flash drive and asked me to install Linux on it. Unfortunately this flash drive is one of the slower ones. In fact, out of the "slower" subgroup, this is still one of the slower ones. This is a problem when the whole computer system is running from this really slow flash drive.

I've never seen ANY Linux distro run this slow. I installed it and I'll give it back to him, but I don't think he's gonna be happy.

Has anyone seen the movie "Small Sacrifices?" It's based on a true story. So sad. :(

Yeah, it goes against my lifestyle too. Always living life like that sounds way too stressful. I'd rather trust people who I think can be trusted and occasionally be disappointed.

The meters are all outside here. Probably because we don't have basements due to earthquakes. I don't like basements anyway. I find them kind of creepy.

A lot of the houses by the lake around here don't have basements. My friend used to own a small house in that area and dug himself a basement. It was almost crazy but he did it. Every apartment and house I've lived in has had a basement. Our's isn't bad, laundry is down there and we store stuff. My cats like to hide down there and scare me.

My dog got her excitement for the day. The gas meter reader came at 8:30 AM and she got to bark at him from the time he came to the front door, when he went to the basement to read the meter and then when he walked out of the house. She has a very deep howling bark, it's not scary, it's more like she's howling at the moon. But it's 8:30 Am, a week before school starts, it's a time when we don't have to get up early. I wish they'd move this meter to the outside of the house.
She would probably still bark, hearing him prowling about the house outside :)

I'm back. And I gained 5 lbs after that 9 day of doing nothing but eating, sleeping and laughing. I could feel bad but I had a really really awesome time with my family.

Hello all! How do you do?

This is true. Although, it's understandable that his professor would feel that way. I mean. It's not just true for cops. It's a life fact and that's how the world lives. If he's a Christian (like truly born again), he would have a different point of view.

That moment when you are playing in the middle of service and all the hair snaps off your bow.

School starts for me this week! So, if it looks to the CC world like I've dropped off the face of the earth, that's why. I anticipate being quite busy, and in the past extra computer usage has been the first thing to cut out of my schedule. So sadly, I probably won't be around much for a while. I'll miss you guys! Look for me when the birds fly back ;).
