I can relate...

This one dentist I went to once... his assistant was uh, well endowed. Kept bumping into my head during the cleaning. It was, very awkward. I wanted to scream "bad touch, bad touch" but that would have made it even more awkward.

I have officially lost all street credit with non Christian men. Oh well.

The last time I went to a local walk in health care office I got seated in the back and then this big buff guy walks in with scrubs and says hey I'm your doctor.. you can call me Blake... then he looks deeply in my eyes.... then up my nose and in my ears... yeahh awkward. Then the doctors office sent me a friend request. While looking at the profile I came across a pic of the doctor... In his underwear modeling... talk about awkward.. going back for my follow up was just plain out weird.

So that's how he drums up repeat business.

Make sure you don't have an appointment when vice decides to crack down on him though!

She might find the hospital adding some very unusual charges to her bill.

I'm a bit awkward saying this but, oh well, the Lord leads....

I was bumped into at the optometrist's office by my knee being pushed into her mid-section as she was examining my eyes, can I say that? And, I can't remember how that developed but it just seemed normal, almost, like she did that to all he patients, had to be in that position, but, the more I thought about it, no, it was not normal.

I knew immediately, then, that the Enemy was tempting me, this was when I was 28 years old about, by the way, but, yeah, for God does not tempt, Scripture says, and, if you don't believe me, believe James 1 :)

I just got done with that eye appointment and never went back there again for vision checks, well, at least, while she was there.

I admit, too, she was pretty and all but it was just not right. Even if I say 'yes' to her as that making a pass, I would not want a girl to make a pass at me like 'that' or , as you put it, Hisservantstriker, by pushing her 'endowed' into me. That's not biblical and it's not something I'm going to be turned on by, at all, not even .00000001 percent. In fact, that number is too high. NO CHANCE of my being turned on, this I hope and pray to this day, I want a girl from the Lord whom I meet that is giong to like me without thinking she needs to shove her sexuality at me.

She don't. The Lord leads. And, any guy trying to follow God does not want that kind of come-on from a girl :)

God bless you all, for your following after Him, as He leads you :)

"...you follow Me." John 21:22

And, James 1 :

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. 13When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

There is much wisdom in this post. God bless you for this testimony.

I agree, it's just not worth it to pursue a relationship if it's the wrong relationship with the wrong person.

I never have been fortunate enough to have a "hot" dentist. I can however say that I have made it 43 yrs w/out 1 cavity, and have had a few "hot" nurses tend to me over the years when in for a hospital stay. (does this count for anything)
All I know is now that I am back home all I want are Pipp's cupcakes....lots & lots & lots of them.

I don't use the term 'hot'. To me that is a cheap term that reduces people to a level of nothing more than someone to be lusted after.

The kids dentist Dr. Hottie, is very nice and professional. He also has a child and a wife, which he talks about in a loving way. So we stay with Dr Hottie and staff because they are really good people.

Yeah, I have to agree for the most part. I very rarely use it, mainly if I'm just teasing. Like, if some of my friends are talking about a really cute actor that I have NO idea who they're talking about I'll say in my valley girl voice, "Oh my gosh, like, he's totally hot. *regular voice* Who we talkin' 'bout again?" or if some of the youth group girls at the church I help out with are talking about a guy I'll be like, "*Valley girl* Oh my gosh, he's such a hottie. *Regular* Wait, who?"

Yay for social awkwardness! :p

You know it's time to change your avatar when you glance over and it catches your eye and for a second looks like the new Willy Wonka played by Johnny Depp. I think it's the big sun glasses.... guess who'll get the old laptop out tonight and look for a new pic... This girl that's who.

Manners go out the door on the internet. I think manners are becoming less and less commonplace in the real world as it is, but on the internet it seems more so. I guess people feel like boundaries do not apply to them. It's a special kind of pride.

Nights with the fam, whilst watching a Hallmark movie called Naughty or Nice:

Me: "Who's that guy?"

Dad: "Naughty or Nice?"

Me: "Dad, I already know what the movie is called. I wanna know who the actor is."

Dad: "I know, I was...oh, nevermind."

So, Dad looks up the guy in the movie.

Dad: "He's not in anything we've seen, but he'll be in an NCIS episode next week. *irrelevant chatter between him and I* He's also in a series called Hostages."

Me: "What? Sausages?"

Dad: "No, HOSTAGES."

Me: "...Oh..."
