Many holes and much sophistry in your theory... but you are stuck on it so I'm not going to waste my time debating it because you won't listen.

Have fun.
Hi Lynx. I'm driving home from the grocery store and I'm thinking about your last comment to have fun. Peoples's eternity is not something to be taken lightly. Then I started thinking about the people who are on this website. Some have the ambition of being pastors of a congregation, some like to debate with the intentions of winning, some are here looking for answers, some are here as a diversion from their lives, and some are here because they are simply trying to understand. That is me. I'm trying to understand why there is so much controversy on what the bible clearly states. No more debates, just discoveries. I'm asking for your help, PLEASE.
I would like make a statement and all that you have to do is agree or disagree. If you agree, then we move on to the next statement. If you disagree, then we provide scripture ( one at a time for discussion ) alternately. Very simple with no stress and plenty of respect and courtesy. Also, not for show, just truth.

Yeah, I stay out of the Bible Discussion Forum for just the reasons you mentioned. Too many people intent on winning the argument, nobody actually listening. They can get downright VICIOUS over there!

Honestly, if the statement and agree/disagree is going to have anything to do with your theory, it would be better for us to just agree to disagree and move on. I'm not going to agree with you on that.

In the meantime, there is chocolate to eat! Do you prefer milk or dark chocolate? (In the interest of moving on, y'see...)

We just keep on going round in circles
Lost, found, life is such a mystery
We search and we find opposing answers
Maybe we should just agree to disagree

Yes, there are lots of people in this world who have a very self-oriented view of Time... These are the same people who value there time but are not necessarily by genuinely considerate of other people's time.
Too often we tolerate and even enable these people by accommodating them. I've learned that when dealing with these types of people it is important to be consistent in our efforts to politely remind them of your interests and your desire to manage your time and schedules accordingly. If we do not stand up for our time and considerations these types of people will continue to inconvenience and take time away from us...

Is it just me or is the vibe on the site weird lately? Seems to be a handful of newer users that seem obsessed with specific topics or concepts. And they are relentless.

just remembering when we used to use tattle-tape

if you not a librarian you probably have no idea what that is/was.

It was a magnetic strip we put in books that got turned off when a book got issued, otherwise the security doors would go beeep beep beep if you "stole' a library book.

Nowadays libraries use RFID to track books.
But in my library, we still use barcodes. And date due stamps. But no tattle-tape. so if someone walked out with a book without it being issued I wouldnt know.

But its not something I lose sleep over. I think it just made a lot of money for 3M who do the security doors. ..

Which topics specifically? I'm thinking of a few, but I don't know if they are the same ones you're thinking about, and I don't know if you're looking at the same parts of the forum I'm looking at.

But yeah, there seems to be a lot of OCD around here lately.

Yeah, I wish Elio Motors would get off the dime and start production of their ultra-efficient car. Or Aptera... well, Aptera II now... I just wish SOMEBODY would make the very efficient cars people have been trying to develop for the past decade. I could really use an aerodynamic car that gets 70 mpg.

im waiting for the day they have mag-lev roads or rails, and everyone can travel without expending or mining fossil fuels. Maybe people will travel by friction, or we will all wear magnetic roller blades or something.

Gravity could also let go for a bit and we could float instead of walk. Ive always wanted to grow wings and fly.

I mean cars etc are cool, but not a fan of all the pollution they produce to run them. I supoose the alternative, horses and donkeys, arent going to come back anytime soon.

But if you fall UP there's nothing to stop you and you'll fall forever.

But if you really want wings...

It's called a wingsuit. Look it up and decide if you want to try it.

on knowing stuff.

I think some people expect a person to know everything already.
They arent forgiving when a person doesnt know what they think they ought to know.

why do people do this? If you dont know then you dont know. Somethings you just find out later, and even if you DO know stuff its not like you can ALWAYS remember everything.

There is way too much knowledge to know EVERYTHING.

PSA: If any of you have a facebook, email, skype or whatever account that uses a mobile phone number for ID, be sure you keep it updated! Don't EVER let that phone number get out of date!

I just accidentally hacked some lady's Skype account.

I was trying to sign into Skype and couldn't remember my official Skype name, so I used my phone number. Apparently my number registered to Skype is an older number, and my current number goes to the Skype of the woman who used to have this number.

So I used my phone number to log in, and Skype invited me to reset my password. After I had it reset, and confirmed with the text message sent to my phone, Skype let me sign in... and said, "Welcome Tricia (last name withheld.)" Uh...

I just hacked some woman's Skype account and changed her password, all by accident!

I have some free time, so I have been doodling. I drew this doodle for a friend of mine. She is healing from an illness. I give doodles rather than traditional greeting cards.

I like that! Looks like Sergeant Pepper's preferred mode of transportation. Well done. You need to find more free time.

I was wondering, since there's so many Cal E forn I A residents that come here to CC if there's any buzz about your Gov? You remember Max Headroom? The AI guy? Governor Newsom always reminds me of Max.

I have no idea why Max is over there

Max gets what he gets.
