i think God gives us things we can't handle in our own ability, so he might be trying to teach to use the strength of Jesus within us to overcome a particular thing in our lives. We should be praying for strength to match our burdens, not burdens to match our strength. All things are possible with god!
God has shown me instead of asking, "Why or how come?" Ask, "Lord, what do you want me to see in this set of circumstances? What are you teaching me? Showing me?" Once I am shown the what or it is revealed to me through His Word I can understand the why. I don't ask why anymore because in my heart fully believing that All things work together for good, that there's a plan and purpose for what God is doing I really don't feel God has to answer the why. What He is doing is accomplishing whatsoever He wants to have done. He knows the end from the beginning.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Encourages my heart and spirit. Thank you. :)

Ugh! I loathe all this paperwork. I have so much stuff to shred. Why in the world did I hang onto all this stuff? I still have all the original documents from when my ex & I bought our house, the signing of it...all this legal stuff from her immigration, law office stuff, marriage certificates, tax return stuff from like 13 yrs ago....I am shredding it all! I might keep a few tax thing's from the past year, but not much else. And why do I have every single pay stub from my current job??? having a filing cabinet is dangerous for me to own...papers,out of sight out of mind apparently. I even have stuff my Mom sent me with instructions if her & my step dad died at the same time...guess all that can go bye bye too.

So...is it two-thousand-fourteen? Or Twenty-fourteen?

Also...I think just about anyone could make a decent movie script. All you need is a little drama, some puns, some romance, and BOOM. Movie script.

I hear "the pain" iTOREtheSKY. LOL

I relocated and downsized big time last year and I am a list maker and one item I have had on my list of things to do is ~purge, sort, refiled, shred and take out to dumpster~. That item has been on that list for over a year. LOL I am down to one two drawer filing cabinet, two medium sized boxes and a couple of small boxes. Have made progress though. I would much rather sew then sort.

I get the thing about immigration, legal papers and an ex. Been there, done that.

Your post provided a chuckle.

Bless you :) :)

I've been using Twenty fourteen.

Regarding a movie...drama makes for a good cry. :) Course throw in a few laughs and a good hug and "I like you, baby" and it's a wrap. LOL

LOL..I'm glad my "pain" amuses you. j/k That's all I have is a 2 drawer filing cabinet...sakes alive I could never have a proper ginormous one...I might get tempted to put myself inside of it! I could file myself under 'R' for Ridiculous.:p

What am I doing wasting my time shredding papers when I could be writing a script & stealing all lil_christian's movie ideas!!!!???!!!

Am giggling as I write this...

You have a way with words. Don't ever stop. Keep sharing from the heart. Be yourself. :) :) Ridiculous is good. Helps to balance or even out the rest of the population. I enjoy a good sense of humor. Been known to display that a time or two myself. The Lord knows the number of times Gracie has taken off running when I've let loose with a deep down laugh. Proverbs 17:22 shares that "a merry heart doeth good like a medicine" and I like my "medicine" in the Lord. I've also found that those that can laugh and share that (humor), can share and often do from their heart. Not everyone, but most.

Regarding the movie thing, I wasn't quick enough in my thinking to say, "would make a great novel too." LOL LOL :) :) What can I say? I like to read and have a box of Kleenex by my chair - I cry and laugh as the author weaves the story through words.

Don't get buried in the paperwork. LOL LOL :) Remember, it will feel sooooooooooooooooooooo good once it is all done. That's what I tell myself.

Yeah..I'll tackle some more later. Is it just me or does handling paper make yer' hands all dried out? I always feel kinda dirty & have to wash my hands after spending any time handling paper or cardboard.

Maybe I'm just a big baby? lol

So,yeah...I have no choice but to be my ridiculous self. I've tried to be Mr. Serious all the time. Never works out well. I am serious when I have to be...but life is waaaaaaaay to short to be all gloom & doom 24/7. I had my fill of that off & on as a teen and into my 20's. I hated that version of me. I don't deny that I feel weak..sad..defeated...a lot. I have just determined in my heart, through Jesus I am not gonna wallow in it all the time. There day moments...ok,maybe days I wallow a tad. lol But,I don't want it to be my lifestyle or crutch I lean on when thing's around me are bleak. Besides,if I am called to live & love as Christ did (and still does for us...interceding on our behalf to the Father) then how can I be of any help to other's if I'm always bummed out & concerned or worried about me me me me?
That's God's job now. I'm soooooooooooooo over trying to do everything in myself. (ok,again..sometimes I still do...but it's not like the old days)

Now tell me to shut up! :p

In other news...I had ice cream for lunch.:)

So you're talking to us on a sugar high??? LOL LOL :) What flavor of ice cream? I like anything with raspberry and milk chocolate in it.

And for the hands, try Udder Cream. LOL I know what a name right ? but it works. can be found in any craft store or perhaps you can get it at any WalMart store in the hand lotion area. Comes in a white jar with black spots (think cow) lol Another good one is bag balm. What names, huh? LOL Paper does do a number on the hands. I put lotion on my hands and then wear gloves to bed. LOL It's winter here and my hands dry out so bad, get so chapped, raw and hurt.

I'm not supposed to feel burnt out. Can't stop, can't slow down, can't ask for help, but can't burn out. Exhaustion is not allowed. Suck it up, don't complain, keep on going with a smile.

It's been a girl's day for my Daughter and me. My Husband and Son aren't feeling well, so they stayed home from church. After wards she and I had planned on going to the Library. When we got there we realized we were there to early, so I took her to this restaurant that's a favorite of most people in my town. There must have been something for kids going on around there because there was a lot of parents with their children there. We split some chicken wings and a deep fried pretzel. Yes I know that food is really bad for us, but we enjoyed it. I let her pick some songs on the jukebox, she played Roar, by Katy Perry and what does The Fox, what does the fox say?. It was a fun afternoon and we did bring home food for the sickies.

Thinking if I had a gazillion dollars I'd hire a private jet to go pick you up...you could tell the pilot to take you anywhere, drop you off for a week & then come back & pick you up. I'm thinking MissCris needs some serious alone time to just chill & collect her thoughts. (and possibly sipping on a nice fruity rum based beverage) lol

Oh...and send us all a postcard.:)

So...like just to prove I'm not making this up...I actually use & am almost out of my Udderly Smooth hand cream. I actually only recently discovered this. A friend of mine suggested it,'cause she knows I hate hand cream & I always complain that it takes forever to absorb into my skin & it feels greasy or slimy & I hate that! This stuff is great 'cause it just absorbs into my skin & within like seconds it drys, which is nice...then I can touch things & not feel like I'm getting them all gross with hand cream residue. :p

wow....i'm impressed. LOL :)

I hate lotions but use them. I mean with my way of thinking, if I take a shower and clean up, why would I then go and want to put lotion on my skin? I want to be clean, not greasy. So I use a wee bit of baby oil before drying and then like I said I use lotion and gloves at night. As much as I hate to say it, it works. :)

Not sure what that gold/yellow critter is but he/she/it is cute. LOL

Two best products I've ever found for dry chapped hands is either Zim's Crack Cream, or O'Keaefe's Working Hands. I'm a painter so my hands are routinely in either water or solvents cleaning tools which really dries your hands out.

O'keaffe's is carried in Lowe's, I have no idea who carries Zim's. Walgreen's used to but they dropped it.

Ahh yes,I used to do lots of indoor/outdoor painting in my youth and my old boss used to have a big tub of that Zim's stuff.
