I literally just texted my friend saying I needed a punching bag. I'm in a judgey/terrible mood today and I hate it but I feel like that would help.
every girl should have a punching bag. that's my theory.

i'm also of the opinion that every girl should know how throw a proper straight (cross) and check hook. just in case.

plus, it does wonders for the self confidence too. : ) i've never hit someone in my life, but at least i know how to if i need to.

i've worked out a LOT of aggression on my buddy, "tank". and spared more than a couple lucky folks a rant or three. : )

My uncle (married to my aunt who homeschools my son) has shingles. I was just informed of that fact this morning. To protect the EX HUSBAND who has a compromised immune system, travels internationally, and has never had chicken pox, I tried offered him alternative arrangements. I organized everything except one part, and he is refusing to compromise because he is too much of a whiny brat to take care of it himself. Also, he brought my son unprepared for PE.

Me: "so run to Walmart and buy him something."
Jerk who just put a racing strip on his stupid Mini Cooper: "I can't afford that right now."
Me: "you have over $30,000 of available credit on your credit card."
Whiny Dictator (aka., the aforementioned jerk): "I spent that all on my attorney."
Me: "then don't you think that we as responsible adults should learn how to raise our son together?"
Litigious monster (aka., jerk or dictator): "That's never going to be possible. We need to have a judge decide everything. I'll have my attorney put this exception in the permanent order."

When I realized I was about to lose control of my volume and my vocabulary, I hung up and quickly walked out while the tears started overflowing. Of course, I ran into my boss on the way out.

Attorney: "What's wrong?"
Me: "My exhusband is just being a [donkey]."

I then curled up and bawled in the upstairs bathroom. I may be out of that marriage, but I don't know if my son and I will ever be free of that monster.
It is hard for me to hear that. It must be miserable. I have no idea what it feels like. But I think a bowling anger would come out at me.

I do not know how do you do to remain calm and respectful. I congratulate you at that. It is admirable.

Misty, I know I cannot advise you on this AT ALL because in reality I look like a schoolboy advising a grown up woman. But I can only say these kind of people test our patience and confidence in Christ.

Honestly, I feel anger when I read the dialog. There are people who are little boys playing the role of men.

From now on, I will try to read this post to pray God and let Him know I would never be that selfish.

Now I admire you even more Misty. My highest respects for you. You've been through things I would never imagine going through.

God Bless you and thank you for that post.
For the first time, I almost weep at this.
Be courageous.

I was about to have a really bad day but I decided to change it for the better and cultivated my friendships even more. I earned security and confidence.

You can change the course of your day.

so I ain't dead yet.
No man. You are fully alive. Free to live and take risks.
Able to climb the top the the Swiss Alps or going down into the waters of Rotorua, New Zealand.

Sorry for too much poetry here.

Thank you so much, y'all! All of you here are seriously keeping me sane.

Agnus, thank you for that brotherly righteous indignation. Please just pray for my son and for me, because we really will never completely away from X's toxic influence.

Rachel and Monicat, today my punching bag learned some new words and got the work out of his life. Coupled with Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, I got out so much of the anger inside. I kicked and punched until my arms were aching and the tears could flow freely. After a quick prayer, I touched up my make up, put on my red lipstick, cranked up the bass on the stereo, and drove to Trail Life feeling like a new woman.

For some reason, this really touched me this morning. I suppose the visual on how the King of the Universe, the highest there is and can be, came here to be mocked and tortured and made to look like a fool for my sake, the crown of gold turned into a crown of blood and thorns.

Thank you for the reminder.
Thank you, Rachel. I thought it was beautiful and it's one of my favorite songs.

No man.
What I am saying is you are free to live your life the way God wants.
And it does not mean slavery.

About NZ and Switzerland, I just gave a picture of the following: life was meant to live it at its fullest.
No one needs to go to those places to live life really. It was just an analogy.

to sleep, perchance to dream...

It just feels really nice to feel like I can breathe again. Anxiety and low blood sugar are for the birds.

They need to make a new category of journalism called speculism. Journalists are mangling true journalism with all of this speculation over missing flight mh370. Each new theory is being passed off as legit fact based journalism. In fact all these are mere speculations meant to fit content demands. It's an exercise in throwing Jello on the wall to see what sticks, and news viewers are loving the Jello throwing festival.

Yep. I feel for the families and friends of those who were on the plane. But unless there is new, substantial evidence that actually recovers the plane, all this speculation is just getting beaten into the ground. I can't even turn on the news anymore. I'm tired of it.
