Dang it Lil, every time you type "Titan", I read it as "TinTin" :p.
Haha! I felt my ears a'burning and had to come a'running to see what was being said about me.
But seriously, this is awesome. I thought the same thing. I mean, I'm aware of the Greek Titans, but I also read the name as 'Tintin'. I don't know what that says about me.

The Singles Forum really is a unique and different group from the rest of the site.

Ok Cristen. Have you been training your moths to come after CCers? Ever since you started talking about moths it seems more and more people are having moth issues on here. And now one has finally reached me!

I'm not at liberty to say.

Hehe, this post is the one I was thinking of, BLB :):

The thought of Christian batting at "fluffy jingly things" is really rather amusing :D!
The weird thing is that I can totally see myself giving those 'fluffy, jingly things' a go. Maybe that's not so weird. This is me we're talking about.

By Geoff Moore and The Distance

Evolution Redefined

Darwin first did the imminent service
Of arousing attention to the probability
Of all change in organic
As well as in the inorganic world

Being the result of law
And not of miraculous interposition
For all life is a continuum
All living things
Despite their awesome diversity
Are related to each other

And evolution is the term
We give to that process
By which the structure of plants
And animals changes
With the passage of time
Thus accounting for the continuum

I was staring through the blackboard
Trying to keep from sleeping
Doing my very best
To hear the subject they were teaching

When to my surprise
I couldn't my believe my ears
This is what you looked like
Back a million years

Your uncle was a monkey
He was swinging through the trees
He lived on green bananas
And his arms swung to his knees

He spoke with such conviction
It really made me think
Maybe my teacher
He's the missing link!
He said...

I believe in evolution
Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies
It's the only possible solution
Big Bang fiction, that we actualize

Therefore, Cro-Magnon Man

It takes a lot of faith
To say we're accidents of nature
But I believe we are the work
Of a loving Creator

Now you can wait a million years
And hope that nature does its part
But it only takes a moment
For God to change a heart
That's why...

I believe in evolution
Changing of the heart
Renewing of the mind
It's the only true solution
God is always working
Changing lives (changing lives)
It's evolution redefined

I used to trust in natural selection
My survival was all I could see
My evolving to perfection
Started when God rescued me

Reminds me of what I told a kid I was tutoring when he came in upset that the teacher was saying that people evolved and doesn't that go against the Bible. My response: Who are you going to believe, God or some guy who thinks he's just an overdeveloped monkey?

Correction: ...the common ancestor of an overdeveloped ape, but still you make a very good point. I can reason my faith and it makes a lot more sense than the fairy tales evolutionists brainwash people, especially children, into believing. Theistic evolutionists aren't exempt from this either.

I think I am starting to get some of my brains back. Knock on wood. My head is a bit clearer tonight. I am still slow at taking information, trying to figure out the meaning of complex sentences, and conversing is a bit difficult. But I don't look like I did in that picture from this morning, so I think the dopiness side effect is going away!!! :) :) hopefully things will improve from here! :)

Through all of this packing business, I've been searching for a ring. It had belonged to my ex's great grandmother, and I left it at his house. He ended up returning it to me, saying it was a gift, mine to keep. I figured I would just hang on to it to pass on to my daughter. So I put it in a safe place...I thought...now I can't find it anywhere.

I've been through and through every single type of container in the place.

There was one person around often during the time period I had put this ring away...so it's entirely possible that it was stolen. If I don't find the ring anywhere while I'm unpacking (because really, I could have overlooked it...though I don't really think I did at this point), I may confront this person. Although, if they DID steal it, it's bound to be long gone by now.

*sigh*

You know, this might possibly turn out to be the most popular thread on the entire interwebs. It's really got that kinda potential
