How long have you been single?
All my life lol.
Are you enjoying being single?
I am. You know there was a time a few years ago where I felt really lonely, but reading the Bible, talking to God about it and a book called "Lady in Waiting" have helped me out so much. Right now I am building my relationship with the Lord. I am learning to trust him and growing in the gifts of the holy spirit. I'm very happy to be able to do this before I get married, if I get married. I feel that God is preparing me to be a woman of the Lord, whether it be as a married one or not.
Yes, I was lonely at one time but I've learned that my Father up in heaven knows what he is doing and that I should trust him in everything. Marriage is a big deal and shouldn't be taken lightly. I'm glad that whenever a man does show up to sweep me off my feet haha, I will be able to talk to God about it. I would need to have confirmation that he is the one the Lord wants me to be with.
Is there any prayer or encouragement you'd like to receive here?
Sometimes I get a little anxious because I'm already going to be 25 and I've never been in a relationship before. It just makes me wonder, what if I am not meant to be with anyone? What if I'm meant to be like Paul? I know 25 is not old, but a lot of my friends have married young or have been dating for years. I sometimes feel that I'm too weird for anyone to love me back in a romantic way. I have liked a couple of Christian guys and they just ignore me. They don't seem to like girls like me. So it makes me wonder.
Are you currently praying that God leads you to the person you're meant for? Or are you enjoying this time to get closer to Him?
Both! I enjoy getting to know the Lord. It's nice to know that my focus is on him right now. Sometimes, however, I do start thinking about my future spouse. I pray for him and hope that he thinks of me too.
I pray that the Lord is with him always and that he is well taken care of. I pray that he isn't lonely either.

Both! I enjoy getting to know the Lord. It's nice to know that my focus is on him right now. Sometimes, however, I do start thinking about my future spouse. I pray for him and hope that he thinks of me too.

for the most part. it does get lonely from time to time. i like that if i want to go somewhere, i go. if i want to stay home and do nothing, that's what i do. lol

that it's ok to be in one's 30s and never been married and have no children. that being single doesn't mean i'm broken or weird.
Are you currently praying that God leads you to the person you're meant for? Or are you enjoying this time to get closer to Him? more of the latter than the former. the older i get, the more i think i probably won't get married. but that's ME saying that. God hasn't told me that lol
