I read "the goofiest thing I did today" last post by "IToreTheSky".... I'd have to admit that'd be a pretty goofy thing to do.

I tried to close the elevator doors before my neighbor could step in, but he caught up to me. (We were racing)
So I pressed ALLLL the elevator buttons, except the one for our floor

I went to wash my hands in a pot of boiling water, after putting the vegetables in the sink

Not really, I wash dishes in really hot water and it bugs people when they go to wash their hands in my dishwater. That's the biggest reason I wash in hot water, is so that people don't use my water for their hands. My dad couldn't even stand it.
People learned pretty quickly, not to mess with my dishwater

I have never known anyone who washed their hands in dishwater. I have known people who wash their hands with hot running water and soap AFTER doing the dishes (looks at self in mirror). Dish water is nasty...in fact, unless I've got TONS of dishes, I wash the dishes in running water...

I usually end up doing what you do. Although as a child, not sure if that was always the case. But then that was when I was a child.

You should stop doing that Lin. It will make your hands old and wrinkly before their time.

I use lotion. My hands aren't old and wrinkly.
Most the time it was my mom who did that.
I however, outsmarted her and made my water too hot, so she'd wash her hands somewhere else. It bugged me when people put there hands in my sink, how unsanitary, I'm trying to wash the dishes, not dirty them!
I usually rinse my dishes before I wash them as well. It makes my hot dishwater stay clean longer so I can use it longer.

Your hands are just going to start glowing like red embers.

That could go in the awkward thread!! Lol...

I do silly things fairly frequently, but I'm afraid the examples are not coming to mind.

Silliest thing today - Chased the cat down the hall and ran into the wall.
