Hey Matthew, happy birthday! I realized the other day that I've given all my friends bizarre gifts in this thread. It wouldn't be fair to give you a better gift than Marsi got, and her present was a gallon of vinegar. With that thought in mind, hope you have a great one!
It's a nice pile of worm castings! Marsi is going to want a nice garden, I'm sure, so you need to get the soil nice and fertile. How else can you raise a cow to get milk to turn into ice cream which she can take away from you? Besides, man was formed from dirt anyway, so it's a good sermon illustration.

Dang! After posting that bit about giving my friends rude gifts for their birthdays, I realized that Emily received a rather warm greeting from me. I shall have to give her something that she'd rather not have (as soon as I can post somewhere that I know how to do the pics on). Lord willing, by this time tomorrow you'll have a giant weather balloon or some other thing you'll want to immediately get rid of, Emmy!

Sorry I took a couple of days to get back on CC to thank you all. You guys helped turning 40 somewhat tolerable for me!!!
Now I am off to the mall to use my birthday money to buy my new ride (a walker), a shiny new grill for my mouth (dentures), fancy new threads (black socks, sandals, and plaid shorts), and an airplane ticket to Florida where I have a room reserved for me at the seniors home called "The End of the Road Retirement Center".
