I don't think I'm misinterpreting anything.

Anyways women don't have authority to teach over men.

Well, if that helps you sleep at night, then keep going with that. You're the one that has chosen to read and respond to what a woman is teaching so, yeah.

It's those little "I don't have a good argument so I'm going to throw this pat answer out there to shut you up" that annoy me the most, I think.

I have an interest in a lady that says "I have Jesus why would I need a man". I think that's unfair to me or any Christian man who would be interested in her. Kind of a unreachable standard.

I dont believe in the "special someone" thing. I gave those thoughts up over a decade ago, only thing I think about is what I am going to eat next.

Things you post are meant to teach? That's dangerous for a looooot of reasons. And just because someone adds a more to a post that is quoting you doesn't mean they are putting words in your mouth.

It's interesting that you feel that way.

I wasn't here to teach. Yet, the man whom I was responding to said that women don't have the authority to teach over men. But, yeah, ignore that and take issue with my response. That seems to be the norm on this thread anyway. Why break stride now?

I bid you all farewell. I won't be visiting this negative thread again. It's always great to be treated this way by other believers. Feel the love.

I've never lost any sleep over it.

It is not a personal attack. I'm simply saying the bible doesn't verify this line of thinking. Your posts are rather unclear about what you're trying to put across. After all that it's not really an issue that even needs discussing or debating.

That's all well and good but adam had Jesus too but God said it's not good for him to be alone.

I'd be running in the opposite direction real quick.
