I used to have my ear pierced.

Took it out when I became a director of my company.

I'm 50 in 4 weeks and I so much to pierce my ear and get a tattoo.

A tattoo of 2 love birds.

One with my name and one with my wife's name.

Spiritually, I see no problem with them. These days a conservative nose piercing (with a stud, not hoops), on a woman is not even perceived as a sign rebellion. I personally hate the things :p

I’ve have no problem with these things, but I’m curious about how we determine what conservative is. By whose culture?

Well since the majority of people making that comment are in the US i think it's safe to say by American conservative standards. And being a Christian site you could add that into the mix.
