interesting I do no contact dates and dont let anyone hold me for too long cos Im not anyones baby.
dates are meant to be fun and not occasions where you cling to somebody like a limpet...all dates have to come to an end. Thats why its a 'date' and and not a 'week'.
If I had a dream from the Lord I would hold on to that dream and not try and push it.
not that I am really dating anybody at the moment its just I dont really want to go out at all. And nobodys asking me so if you dont get asked you just dont go. even if you get asked you can just say you dont want to go.
I thnk theres a huge difference between single people that date and those who desperately want to marry that date. I find the latter really uncomfortable to be around and avoid them cos they are always hinting about moving in with you and stuff like that and not even respecting your space. Its like the job interviewers asking where do you see yourself in 5 years time when you have done all you could to get to where you are TODAY.
Just take dating for what it is, if you get asked out and choose to accept, then enjoy the other persons company and dont expect anything more. If you are the one asking then do the same. God will let you know if someones right for you.
I definitely think when people are young they need guidance on what to do on a date as Lord knows most parents dont even teach you stuff like this, and churches dont seem to either.
