I remember a story I heard on the radio about an owl who had lived to be 900 years old. If you asked the owl's secret, the owl would reply:
"I'm just to stubborn to die
Until I know whoooooooo
What, when, where and why
Until I know all
There is to know
I simply refuse to go"

On the other hand, getting old ain't for sissies...

I think I want to live as long as God has something for me to do here. Then I want to get out of here.

It's like wanting to go to bed early so tomorrow will come quicker, but you gotta wash the dishes first. Sure there's a lot of stuff to enjoy in life, but there's also a lot of junk to endure. If I can get my job done here and there's no more reason for me to be here I would prefer to move on so I can be in Heaven.

I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I felt like that for several years... but what I learned is that if you hang in there, things will get better. God bless.
Yes, it's called RETIREMENT.

Im not gonna lie, I really dont have any idea : p

I do know that there are some physical problems that run in my family, like alot of nerve issues and junk like that. Like my mom is 50 and she can barely stand to drive anymore due to the nerves in her hands flaring up so much that she cant even clench her fists. Theres a few people in our family with issues like these, and its possible I could get them, too.

I dont look forward to having to deal with alot of pain as I get older, but who knows, I might luck out and feel fine in my old age : p

But either way, the Lord will provide for you, so Im not worried about it.

I didn't think I'd live long enough to see my 40th birthday. I used to live very hard and very fast.

With the problems that run in my family on both sides, I might see 60 if I live reasonably healthy, but the odds aren't favorable. It's pretty much assured that cancer or heart disease is going to take me out.

Well as to how long do I THINK I will live, all indications are in favor of a long life. "Most of your health after 30 depends on what you put in your body before you turned 20" as they say, and my mother is a health nut... er, my mother is very conscious of the health value of what she eats, so we grew up pretty healthy. And it seems to have paid off, as I don't seem to have the chronic health problems many of my peers have.

I'm not suicidal but I don't care for this world. I love my family and the few friends I have but I wouldn't mind going home already.

You will be okay! The sun will shine again, even if it doesn't seem like it will.

I want to live to be one of those thin, crotchety old ladies that doesn't take crap off of anybody, does as she pleases, and has a fantastic looking garden.

If I stay healthy, I'd like to live to at least 100.
