Some of the toys mentioned we dont normally have, so i never imagined wanting a trampoline... but there was something red on wheels i saw in foreign storybooks that i rather dreamed about but never saw here. A wagon to pull other toys and dolls around here=).
Aww. It seems nice.

i want to give my grandsons a trampoline. but my daughter says it's too expensive and dangerous. :(
I got one for my grandson online for 79 brand new, and it has a net around it. Kids need exercise, who has fields for them to run in? And it's dangerous to run free in today's world. I think it's important for them to have things to do at home so you can keep an eye on them.

I can't think of any toys I wanted that I didn't get.. Toys for boys weren't that hot of a thing back then. The most interesting toys were Legos and GI Joes (besides electric train sets... but I had a small one).

Toys were more for those times when you couldn't be out playing with your friends. That was the main thing we did for fun back then. We were always outside playing hide and seek or riding our bikes or playing wiffleball or football or tag...yea mostly tag...

My brothers and I wanted a Mr Frosty snowman toy that makes crushed ice, and came with a penguin shaped flavour bottle thing. My parents refused to get one because they were expensive for what they were and looked like they got messy and sticky. I have since spoken to many friends whose parents said the same thing!

I wouldn't call it a toy, but I really wanted a dirt bike when I was in the 8th grade, but instead, my dad bought me a 5hp scat cat mini bike. Of course, my friend down the street had a Yamaha 125 dirt bike that his dad bought him. I was so jealous!

Wow. You were blessed. My parents or most of my friends parents couldn't afford a motorbike. Even a budget minibike!

Remember the six wheeled robotic cars? Never had one as back in the 1980's they were £50. Was silly money. I did try one once though.

Oh man I remember those noisy mini bikes! Never wanted one though. They were just too noisy. I loved dirt bikes too. My parents got me one but it wasn't a true dirt bike. It just kinda looked like one. Didn't stop me from trying to jump things with it lol. I think I miss jumping things with a ramp on my bike haha.

American Girl Dolls and accessories. They were very expensive, we did have some of the books, however. The catalog would come in the mail twice every year and we spent many hours poring over it and coveting. But, I think if we had them they would not have lived up to the expectations we had of the pleasure they would have given us.

I wanted a skateboard but never got one. I also liked Toy Story so I wanted the car from that movie.
