Hmmm... a word I hate...

*Lynx thinks............

Hershey. The abomination that took perfectly good chocolate and degraded it over time, little by little, to the point that now my (otherwise sane) friends don't like real chocolate because they're used to the facsimile made by Hershey.

And now I'm going to have to wash my keyboard off because I just used the H word.

Yes, but they rattle... and a good thing too, I've encountered a few of them in my days here in Arizona! Now I'm wondering, what kind of snakes do they have in Norway? Anything with cool names? :cool:
Not many snakes here

we have Hoggorm, Buorm and Slettsnok
and we have a lizard called stålorm

orm=
snake (or worm)

hogg = strike or chop

slett= straight

stål = steel

bu= shack, but I don't know if that has anything to do with the snake's name

Okay, I am adding that to my FAVORITE words list. Slettsnok. That is just awesome.

Oh, I don't like the words "thongs" because my mom always refers that word to sandals, I kindly remind her they are called "flip flops"

Every "r" word in Chinese. The sound comes from your throat and it's so annoying to do and sounds weird to hear. I love this language but could do without that r. Here's a video to let you know what I'm saying, hate them with me haha

But it is only the Hoggorm that is venomous?

yes, that is correct

also, the venom isn't terribly strong, so it's only a problem for children or if you are allergic

(I want to see one!)

Oh... snakes.... don't you just love them???

The college I attended is located in the middle of a natural reserve.... I lost count how many times I crossed paths with snakes, bird catching spiders, capybaras, sloths, aligators and the such... it was quite interesting....

Gotham City
Packers, Bears, Dodgers, Clippers, Celtics, Warriors, and when Ryan Seacrest sends us to a commercial break before revealing results on American Idol. "Right after this," "When we come back," "After the commercial break." Shut up Ryan.

It disgusts you? Shouldn't it rather bring up compassion in you? A person who says that is in a place of dissatisfaction, and hopelessness at times. I think that although it may be a disgusting thing to say as we are to love ourselves, it should also alarm us to the reality that there is a lack of love going on in the person. Maybe they genuinely do hate their current reality and rather than disgust they need exhortation. They need you to bring light and hope into their situation and tell them that they can change for the better.

I hate to hear..."that's not fair!"....get over it!!! Life is not fair! Jesus didn't yell out "That's not fair!" when they crucified him!

My son's girlfriend hates the word "moist" and I've heard other women say that too. The word moist just makes me think of cake mix. lol :D
