Archaeologists believe this thread was once dedicated to male preferences for certain styles of hair in the female population.

I tried smiling for the webcam once. I nearly cracked the screen.

It really depends on the shape of a woman's face really. A certain hairstyle may look great on one girl yet look terrible on another.

I personally prefer at least shoulder length hair with a little bit of wave / curl in it. I have yet to meet a woman whom that hairstyle looks poorly on.

Curly hair is pretty cute when it comes to reds and blondes. What am I saying? Curly looks good, on all hair types. But if anything, I wouldn't really care what the woman's hair would look like. As long as it makes her feel confident and comfortable.

Besides, I've noticed how high maintenance girly hair can be. :p

It can be very expensive, Kooper. But, if you agree to be a hair model for some studios, sometimes they will do everything for free :D

I'm pretty much a traditionalist when it comes to women's hair styles, mid shoulder length and simple styling. I don't mind women using highlights, but some of the styles/colors that I've seen over the years are just downright ugly. I don't understand why people cant be happy with what God gave them. I kinda hold the same way on women and makeup ....keep it simple, in my opinion less is usually better, let the natural beauty show.

The styles I reeeeeeeeally don't like are the ones that make a woman's hair look kinda dirty...yuck. A friend of mine had beautiful long, wavy dark hair, but she put blonde streaks in it and used way too much product for a long period of time. She nearly ruined her hair over time.

Long as the hair is on the longer side i'm happy. (personal preference not a sin issue =P ) Shoulder length is about the shortest i prefer, from there the shorter the hair the less attractive a woman looks. I otherwise don't care too much, i guess long as its not overly gelled or hair sprayed. I feel a woman's hair ideally should be soft, moveable, not like news anchors and the helmets they call hair.
I guess i wouldn't be thrilled with a whole head of blatantly fake color, like blue for example. Streaks of highlights might not be so bad, but a whole head would be unappealing. (10 years ago i may have disagreed, old age getting me, haha).

Women and hair. It's a subject that, if I were a lesser man, would really irritate me. Women torture hair to make it curly, then they incinerate it to make it straight, then they put wood stain in it to make it dark and nuclear waste in it to make some bits a strange colour, and then they put Domestos in it to make it light. And then they pay through the nose for special shampoo and conditioner because the adverts tell them that through the power of science their product can repair all the damage. And add a nice coat of varnish.

Thankfully, I don't much care about it. If I did, I'd suggest that blondes stay blonde, brunettes stay brunette, and gingers be deported.

As long as she is happy with her hairstyle would be all that mattered to me.

Red hair can be attractive, and dark brown and black hair are gorgeous (if natural); but when it comes down to it, I agree with Ritter: anything between Sinead O'Connor and Rapunzel is good. It's really about the girl underneath all the hair. If she's pretty, then everything else about her is pretty.

All this joke-dissing on redheads is making me want to color my black hair red, just to spite people.

Rawr.
