Almost a decade in Europe has turned me into a big fan of soccer, they call it football here. I spend way too much time watching soccer, and being a fan is 90% grief lol.

I hate auto correct btw.

I want to go to London so badly. I blame British TV for this, mainly Sherlock LOL. The next time you go, please hide me away in your backpack :)

Sad but so true LOL

This replaces the "read a book, realize you've been reading the same half page for minutes, let your mind wander, pick up another book" cycle.

I'm not bored very often, but I am easily entertained and amused. Besides my job and a half, pets, and house that I upkeep and improve on my own, I keep myself busy with doing creative stuff and dancing/exercising and hiking (which makes me sound fit...I am not ha). But, Netflix and Youtube are also my friends :)

You can get to some really strange places going down the YouTube hole...

Also, if I get too bored I make homemade cookie dough. It's a curse. And a gift.

I guess I am not bored as much as I get lonely. Netflix and Hulu are my friends also. Youtube is crazy some times. Before my son left for his new job, he would entertain me with Fail Army videos and horrible meme things which I don't get half the time. LOL I think he enjoyed the looks I would get on my face LOL

I think I better stay away from homemade cookie dough lol

If you get bored you can fix up my house. I need things done but don't have money or nohow.

This is it folks, this is what we have been waiting for! Now we need an isolation booth and an unlimited supply of ingredients, and she'll make us all the cookie dough we can eat! :D :D :D

Whenever I have some free time I sit around and start thinking of all the wonderful things I could do!..... and then I get so excited and take so long to decide that it tires me out and I have to take a nap.. :(

I am mostly reading books, watching Apologetics videos on YouTube, browsing pictures of nature around the world, and sometimes I go outside, to open space places, such as mountain or beach. As for me, being at open space places make me think clearer :)

Theology studies, reading, cryptic puzzles, keyboard playing of hymns, running, disciple a young girl, competition tennis, helping a friend with her newborn baby, writing, speaking, watching musicals and drama performances and enjoying time with my children and long lunches with friends. Life is abundant and purposeful. I am thankful for this season.

I pass the time watching TV and reading but I get so bored sometimes. What do you do?
I presume you mean "free" time... beyond what I "must" or "should" do (sleep, work, church, housework, eating, etc.). I help with a youth group a couple of hours each week. I interact a fair bit on this site, play music, do some woodworking and gardening (in summer), and watch movies and informational videos. Sometimes I'll play table games with friends, read, or even work on my drawing skills (rudimentary at this point).

Even with all these interests, I have times when I'm not inclined to do anything in particular. Then I feel a bit bored, and realize that those are times when I need to rest... not sleep, just turn off my brain for a while, or I'll go for a walk. Fresh air is usually an effective antidote for ennui.

Ennui - had to look that one up but it describes my feelings exactly sometimes. I don't get outside for a walk as much as I should. That is very good that you volunteer your time, especially with young kids. This site is full of good people and it is helping me pass the time in a much more interesting way.
