Cant think of the most daring thing Ive done this moment.

But a man I know was locked up because of religion, politics and money and other reasons without having done anywrong.
They had audio loudspeakers everysecond (literally) of the day and night for years.
They had recorded his wife screaming, his children crying, and also threatening horrible sounds of guards etc.
There was not a minute of silence for him.It was difficult to sleep but all he wanted was to sleep as that is only time he would get release.
They raped his soul and his body and said he was theire dog their "*****".
They said they were going to kill his family and they said it often. His body had no peace.
They said he was a experiment and theres noone left for you now in this world.
They gave him alcohol and drugs sometimes.
He woke up everymorning to it and fell asleep everynight to it and during the day also, every second.
They made him say things against his will and do things against his will.Actually forsed him to do and say things.
They stripped away everything from him, dignity, privacy, his rights, everything.
When he was curled up in agony crying they would ridecule him for "feeling sorry for himself" and they would engage in sexual activity as thy were sadists.
Many other things went on also I wont write here.

Because of pressure from the outside they semi released him but under their supervision and control of who he meets what he does.
They covered up what and all that had happened.
said it never happened and kept taking away his rights and violating him.
As they were politicians and society noone dared question so much.
He had no evidence, witnesses?
His word against them......
Also under deaththreates and various other threates and constant supervision.

He later found out that it was several of his childhood friends who had betrayed him to them of his religious and political and financial status.
They also took away his title and everything and stole from him financially but in many more ways.

The most daring thing he ever did was get help from the outside and tell the truth to those who truly would listen as most of those in his country were corupt, owned by them or to not able to help him.
It was taken to some kindof court.
So many years so much had happened and he just wanted to live in peace.
He was not aloud leave country either.

Its still under investigation.
But they did find witnesses to things and methods been going on that had been covered up.
It looked so good on the outside but things are not always as they seem.
He now is surounded by some good guys anyway that are helping him legally and collecting evidence , research etc.
Hope they dont get away with what they did for so many years.
He is still trying to get a restrainingorder.

I cant write anymore about it.
He is a muslim but he had done no wrong.
Taking it to court and getting help under so many threates and other things was strong and brave of him.
He could hardly go out the door.
Other things happened also.

Jump out of a Hind 74 onto the side of an active Volcano and snowboard to the bottom, setting off a couple of small avi's along the way

once I hunted serial killers in phoenix az late at night armed with a poor fashion statement and a bottle of fuji water. More recently though it was scaling a shale cliff trying to rescue a boy I hadn't even seen but heard about just to find out I was a hundred feet above him *he happened to be with his father and only about 20 feet above the water. Since the cliff kind of curved around I couldn't see him and knowing the firefighters were on the opposite side of the water with a ladder heading that way a friend and I went up the cliff, and each time there was an option to go up I chose to go up because I didn't want to end up below them.. When the chopper came I'm sure it looked like I was the one in trouble, a firefighter yelled up to me not to go any farther and to turn back (he obviously didn't see where I'd come from back wasn't an option) but I didn't want to disobey so I decided to find the best place to "control fall" downward, basically I found a spot where after 9 feet there was a small tree then about 9 feet a small ledge and each time I'd just aim for that one spot and go. I was determined not to be a rescue mission so I kept declining assistance I eventually got down with nothing more than a horrible case of poison Ivy and the respect of a few firefighters and onlookers.

I think the scariest part was before the descent when I was trying to go farther, but the rocks about chest high kind of pushed out at me so I had to literally hold my hands under the edge and push upwards to hold my feet on the loose shale, but my next step was a thin piece of shale covered edge with loose stuff on both sides maybe about as long as my foot but much thinner, and I remember thinking okay, put your foot right in the center of that not too far and not too close, cause I didn't want to slip and once I stepped I thought "cool, but now I can't look down cause the rock is jutted out at my chest and upper stomach area and now that my foot was in the center I had to bring my other foot without being able to look to the very edge I had origionally decided I didn't want to step on and then immediately step with the original foot to the next spot while the second foot on the loose stuff was only on by the ball of my foot, it was kinda nerve racking but it worked out okay :)

we all have different purposes. :) I don't think anything is truly boring. I can keep myself fairly well entertained waiting in a dr's office :D

Me and one of my old friends snuck backstage after a concert we went to once. Got to meet the band and hang out. I've done all kinds of stuff in my short lifetime. I'm not sure how many of those things make the "daring" list, but most of them would probably make the "dummy" list...

Wow you guys have done such amazing things that take a great amount of courage. I could never bungie jump or any of that=p.
I agree with Jullianna. Kids can be amazing but they can also be scary. I work with kids who have special needs and sometimes I come home with bruises and bite marks...ha ha. Um I went on a missions trip to Mozambique which was out of my comfort zone (big time) but God blessed me so much through that experience!!
